You can just barely cram a 10MN MWD on a destroyer, but not any frigate sized ship. ----------- Support fixing the EVE UI |

Well. A Crusader or Claw can fit the COSMOS 10MN MWD using 4*Vigor MAPCs and two T2 grid rigs, but it's definitely not worth it... -- Gradient forum |

Well dont know about you guys but my ceptor (crow) pushes 8000ms just t2, with a gistii i get 10k, not sure with implnts,
If you were to use a ceptor as a courier ship, then no need for tank or anything, youl insta warp, the only thing youll have to worry about is 0.0, and even then as ong as you dont lag out you can either mwd back to the gate or mwd out of the bubble before anyones on you, at 8k a sec not alot can get you

I assume that is with rigs though.

You've still got the problem of bomb camps though.

Fastest ship would be cov ops frigate with warp speed implants/rigs. You should be pushing like 20 AU/s. Just be sure to fit some cap batteries since their warp range isn't that great.

4 of the 8 interceptors have the same warp speed as the cov ops frigates.

But what you really want isn't a fast ship, but an invisible ship.
Try for a covops. They can warp cloaked. Fit a MWD to escape bubbles.
Hmm.. that is an option I had not considered. As I said, I usually stay out of low sec, but there are occasions when I have to, usually to pick up something small but valuable such as a BP.
Is there any way to detect a cloaked ship, or are they pretty much totally invisible if you don't screw up?

And as for the guy saying "why these crazy speeds", up to a point, you need every m/s to increase your transversal, as well as missile avoidance.
Oh yeah, and both covert ops ships and inties are good ideas.
I love these threads
There's nothing impractical about it!
Okay that's a lie, anything above 25k is horribly impractical cos you zooooom out of scramble range unless you set you're orbit to like 2000m, even with a 30km scrambler. There's nothing quite like imaging the look on the face of the covert ops who warps in at 300km to watch you're fleet and you're on top of him in around 6 seconds!
