CCP your game is not fair.

thisiswrong	Posted - 2007.09.27 19:04:00 - [1] EVE is unfair because : Frigate to cruiser to battelship = just a few millons of ISK. Battleship to cap ship is billons of ISK. Alliances with their t2bpos having chained NPCS before chaning got nerfed and before you had to get a POS in order to research BPO's. Alliances that have mined high end ore for years before mineral prices dropped, and new players are supposed to compete? If a player from 2003 was new today even if he/she was Tholarim he/she would be pwned and would go back to wow. How can a new corp based in empire (even with 100 members) with plans to move out to 0.0 compete with 0.0 corporations that has chained bugged complexes for BILLIONS for months? CCP turned a blind eye for ages, they didnt care. Its their game and they dont know their own loop holes? CCP, your alliance wafare sucks. Thereis no fair playgrounf anymore. There is no sandbox. Thereis monopolys and cartells. If you want a sandbox once again then exapnd the universe so much of it is unclaimed.

Shiodome Caldari Black-Label	Posted - 2007.09.27 19:08:00 - [4] the more you have, the quicker you earn. it takes ages to earn your first BS, how long does it take to earn them after that though (not very long). if the gap between BS and capital shpi was the same as the gap between frig and BS... people would earn it in about, erm... 1 hour? which would be a whole world of silliness. i presonally really really like that fact that it will take me hard work and patience to EARN my first carrier... if i could aquire all the ISK for all of my aims in eve very easily, i'd have very little left to aim for other than watching my skillbar (which involves no input from me) _____________________________________ today i am this cool: [uncool]================[*]====[cool]

You can be in a BS in few weeks after starting the game if you make it your priority. Getting able to fly a capital ship takes _atleast_ 5 months. ISK Wise, I could afford to buy a capital with a full fit in 3 months if I really wanted, getting to fly the darn thing competently would take over 200 days...

I hesitate to say that the problem is because your corp is made of fail and that you're whining because you can't do something that others can manage but wait, I don't hesitate. You're a whiney failure. The first step to stopping failing is to stop whining. The next is to realistically and dispassionately analyse what your corp is good at. If PvP isn't within a place or two at the top of the list then stop worrying about ISK: even if you had a complete set of T2 ship BPOs you still wouldn't make it in 0.0 If you don't want to fight regularly and at least passably well you will not survive in 0.0 The third, perhaps after a stint in Eve University or Agony Unleashed, is to find an alliance that's not too choosy about who it admits. It doesn't really matter whether they're Coalition, Alliance, unaligned, pirate, whatever, as long as they're in 0.0. Get some ships out in to their space and start fighting their enemies. Bring battleships if you can't afford caps. Fly Cruisers if you don't have the skills for BSs. Go in damb frigates if that's really all you can muster. But get in there and start making a name for yourselves As you get better and gain a rep as a fighting corp, the offers will start coming in soon enough. Older, richer players will join your corp. The rest will follow, really. Whining like a crybaby will not accomplish thi, no matter how hard you do it. CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that.

Take that 100 person corp, go to a .5-.6 system and just mine every belt and move to the next system. In 30 days you could build yourself a mothership if thats really what you wanted to do. A single player even in a 0.0 alliance mining or npcing probibly makes 20-25m a night if there solo. But lets say you take 30 people and combine there efforts you can do 100m a night.

Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application.

Maybe so. That's still less fail than not even being able to sell yourself, no? And as for my corp not doing anything... heh, well, again, maybe so. But the nothing we did was enough to get us invited in to an alliance, whereas the nothing that you've done has accomplished... what? Still, if you want to do it the "pure" way, well there are big ole stretches of 0.0 where you can go 20 jumps without seeing another pilot. I'm sure such 3L1T3 non-sell-outers as you and your corp of non-failers can sneak a couple of haulers with a medium POS and some fittings through some 0.0 choke point guarded by sell-out nothings such as HI4LI and rat and mine to your heart's content. Do let us know how it works out. Meanwhile, and I know it'll seem strange, but we seem to be having fun in Smash and are, well, kinda glad to be members. Weird, huh? CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that.

You know, you're making me feel like we should been paid to join Smash. What kind of fool sells out and then doesn't even get any money? All we've got from the deal are these great guys to fly with, and lots of fun PvP, while getting to live in a reasonably rich part of 0.0 with good empire access and lots of stations I CALL SHENNANIGANS! CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that.
