A tanked drake vs two Deimoses and a Arazu or two Cerebuses and a Falcon would've went even worse for you, and you still wouldn't have been able to do a damn thing. If you active tank, then you'd surely love your odds against two Zealots and a Curse. Basically, a recon and two HACs catch a BC, it dies. Two vagabonds and a rapier are possibly the worst option for killing Drakes. Also, don't cross-post.

As for changing the Bellicose bonus to Webs, I <3 that idea, but would suggest that it gets say a 30% instead of the 60% that the T2 versions get. But seriously, a well skilled pilot with TPs could probably make a speed 's day pretty horrible if he had the right support. As noted previously, the DPS from most speed tanked ships is horrible. Bear in mind people that Barrage M incurs a 0.25 tracking modifier across all 5 of the Vaga's guns. Couple that to transversal in the 1000s of m/s is going to result in pretty ty DPS from the Vaga. So another answer is to just tank him until he gets bored, and buggers off. TBH after highlighting many of the Vagas weaknesses in this thread, I should point out that the biggest strength of the Vaga is its ability to disengage if in trouble. While hard to kill Vaga's are not hard to drive off (Unless I'm piloting it, then it'll probably go up in an expensive explosion). And believe me a pair of heavy neuts will ** a Vaga up totally, and as an added bonus, unless he's using a Faction scram, he's going to have to come in range of your neuts to hold you (assuming you bother to get decent heavy neuts.) My corp is always outnumbered, usually 2-1 sometimes upto 4-1, and without nano setups we'd be sitting in a station bored. We use them, and they are abit overpowered, but being totally honest, nano pilots are some of the best around, theres a massive difference between a bloke whos just put overdrives in his low slots and an experienced speed pvper. 1 tiny mistake and your gone... no tanking till agro ends and jumping out, oh no my friend, your dead. I think the instant death due to a mistake makes up for their positives of being able to keep the iniative in a fight. Nanophoons were broken, atm its ok, maybe a slight bit of tweeking is still needed, but if you nerf speed tanking completely then your limiting options for pvp, and in a "sandbox" game that ccp like to call it, less options = death of the game. 1 more point, to go fast you burn alot of isk
