So that everyone else is aware, the otherwise awesome ISK Risk Casino site hasn't been updated in months, and I still haven't received credit on the 50,000 deposit I sent. But since BIG Games is already in the gambling sector, I think it would be cool if they made an in-game casino that actually worked. What's best is that they could afford to keep guaranteeing a 50 million ISK payout each lottery session (they've had to bridge the difference several times in the past two months.) Having a few million ISK and a developing gambling problem, I can guarantee I'd be a regular customer. If BIG players are interested in my idea, check out www.iskrisk.com to check out their system.

Thank you Nikolai Reidar - Seems we are assured at least one customer when we open up the BIG Bucks Casino.
Note how I said 'when' - not 'if'.
Case of the matter is - I've been ready to launch a Casino for more than 6-7? months.
It's sitting right here on my HD....
The only thing holding it back is the management overhead it would currently give.
The thing I'm waiting for, which CCP has *promiced* they would implement for *ages* (last by Fuhry at a CSM 3? months back) is ingame payment via the IGB (ingame browser)
Without automatic (managed by the Casino software) payments (of prizes won, and deposits made) its simply too much work...
Updating the lottery manually as it is - is already a BIG pain in the butt tbh... (Entering each and every entry (times/amounts/names) in the wallet into the server DB)
Having to do that with a Casino *also*... No thank you...
So I'm still (not so) patiently waiting for CCP to get the 'micropayments via the IGB' (as the term has been coined - little pun there  ) done.
The most frustrating part is - It's so damn easy to do.
I used to do that kinda software in RL (handling secure CC transactions on the web).
There has to be some 'security' build into it so ppl doesnt spoof browser information etc. - But as I said... It's easily done... I should know...
So lets keep our fingers crossed that CCP someday gets around to actually getting it done...

if memory serves me right, there were stations in Beta with a Casino service (like Repair, Fitting, etc).
don't know if they will ever make a return tho in-game, perhaps others could shed some light.

There where indeed stations with a casino icon (and several others as well) which just where empty menus - I even believe you can find those on Chaos still.
Simply placeholders for 'something' CCP hasnt gotten around to yet (if ever)

Hell even an export to CSV option from the wallet would be nice, so we could get the transactions since Date X or last Y transaction into a file we could do something with.
It would be a lot easier to reconsile things if we could use other tools that can help.
I am sure something like that would help with the reconsile of the entries Torn?

Yup - I'd *love* that.
Would help immensly with the BIG Lottery.
Still wouldnt be enough for the Casino (at least not the way I want to run it).
I want ppl to be able to withdraw their money *when* they want.
You get lucky and win 100M - You should be able to witdrawn them right away and run out an buy yourself a Bship (or whatever).
If ppl has to wait for me to get around to wiring them the cash - it's noy quite the same feeling.
You dont get that 'instant gratification' of winning huge, and see your wallet swell right away.
Besides... I'd hate to have to wire x ppl cash everyday... Too much work...
So it has to be done without my intervention at all (apart from writing the software) so that
1) People can get 'instant gratification' and
2) Less daily work for me - Thank You Very Much
But yes - a simple export option for the wallet would be nice around now as well...

i hope your refering to a casino based on ISK?
remember, you cannot use Eve to promote anything that makes you a profit (RL), so to speak...
