Nice to see the goons on the march though I'm not too sure what their true motives are.... After all an alliance that has such extensive meta-gaming skills, talking spying here (wich I btw find kinda cool) and seem to twist and turn the truth back and forth every other 2 weeks, can it really be trusted?
just the views of a not so innocent bystander (capitals sell for billions and allmost in the hundreds tha last few weeks).

RMF are a particular breed of cluelessness that make this game worth playing.
You then realize why some people hold their own space while others have to pay for it.
Being a pet, is the worst status you can achieve in this game. You're better off in empire to be honest.

When Xetic fell CoRM became a founding member of ASCN to stay in Feyth. Then when ASCN fell to BoB they threw in with BoB and paid for the privilege of using the same outposts they help build. When you play the traitor's game expect you can't be suprised when your so called allies in BoB betray you.
P.S. I'm a little biased where ASCN, CoRm and BoB are concerned. Doesn't mean what I said isn't true.

Everything BoB has done over the years, all the metagaming, all the bad form, all the spies, all the griefing, all the hubris, all the arrogance, it's all coming home to roost. If you hitch your wagon to the BoB train, you are accepting that all these things will be rebounded on you as their clients.
You have no right to complain, you knew that BoB had enemies when you sold out to them. Their enemies are fighting them back, with the same disregard for boundaries and rules that BoB showed when they were the aggressors. I have zero sympathy.

I could not agree more. BoB's audacity for such a declaration that 0.0 is somewhat destined for them is unacceptable. They are in a delusional limbo that after a year of war, they would emerge victorious. Well....I would not be counting the chicks before it hatch. I would like to see as to what Mr. Psyduck or ugly ducking or whatever duck or peking duck, that this war, which they started, will only last a year; then they could collect the rent for everyone coz most of the alliances against them will be dead. We'll see who blinks

I think you are forgetting what game you're playing here. You're thinking New Testament 'turning the other cheek', while Eve is really Old Testament 'an Eye for an Eye'.
I don't think anyone disputes that retaliating meta-gaming with meta-gaming indeed leads to a downward spiral. But unlike Kindergarten, to follow your analogy, there is no teacher here to punish the first kid who did it. Which leaves no recourse except to retaliate, in kind and with no holds barred.
If CCP had *****ed down on the metagaming bull****, then sure, you'd have a point. But they didn't. They left it to the players to solve it. And the only solution that doesn't involve bending over, is to fight back with the same weapons.

Not really, although it's obivous you don't read my postings. I do find it kind of funny your post sets apart the posting strategy of yourself and Goons alike.
But then again, Goons are winter and war combined, i don't have alot of say in that now do i. |
