I am here to share my toughts about the sound effects of large neutron blasters.
I like to look what i fly, therefore the mega is an excellent choise.
I also like to listen to pew sounds. Lasers sound awesome. Do i fit lasers on my mega to gain max stimulus while playing eve?. No.
The current sound of large neutrons make me think of squashing melons into a stone wall, an old man performing squats, my mitshubishi on a cold winter morning...whatnot..
It should be more like large ions, with some more "oomph" * added to it
Please CCP, make me want to play eve with sounds again!
* = Not meaning the sound the amarrians make whe you smack them in the groin

pretty much only the minamatar ACs and lasers of amarr sounds cool in this game, so i dont even bother (though the soundtracks rulz!!111one)

It's a shame yes. CCP could put some work on the sounds instead of concentrating on the graphics engine every now and then.

\yarr these guns are suppose to be the most powerful close range ... make it sound that way .
Man please change the arty sound from the pathetic but classic pew to something more like "chung chunk"

Finaly! I thougth I was alone in this. Smb told me once EVE has sound effects, but I didn't belive him.
The sound from blasters should be much more horrible. So frightening, that interceptors run away when they hear it! The sound from minmatar guns arn't so good also... But blasters are the most devastating guns in the game, shouldn't they sound that way?
The soundtrack is one of the best in the gaming history, but why the good tracks run only when going on missions with Acc gates? At least in my case, dunno if there's an option for this, but in the jukebox there are only 2 or 3 good tracks and I've heard a lot more on missions.
Please, CCP, we aren't deaf. Eyecandy is good, but what about earcandy??

I agree, megapulse sound like the world is coming to an end and I usually have to turn the sound down - but neutrons... bleh.
I hear CCP are working on a big graphical upgrade, I hope they do the sound too.

The look / build graphics and sound to an Ion cannon burst are sweet.
I agree maybe the Neutrons need some love in the sexy feeling department.

allso mega pulse and AC sounds quite nice :)
