As per our agreement in the "Ongoing fighting in BKG" thread post about five weeks ago, at the bottom of the 16th page , I've come to collect my Mothership or it's equivalent worth of isk.
As any of my corp-mates who were on would be willing to verify, I came very close to selling my carrier pilot today to be able to settle up on this bet, as I was under the impression M. Pire was still holding out.
Since it is still September, and you've graciously been given a week to move out, I would like a Nyx transfered to me where ever is most convenient for you, or 25b isk to be deposited into this character's wallet, within one week. We can work out the details of the transfer in private if you wish, and then I will consider our debt settled.

Edited by: Faith Black on 30/09/2007 05:06:28 A bet needs to be accepted by both sides. I don't see Dungar accepting it there, probably because the risk was to high. And TRI stated themselves that they were not really involved in this OP this weekend, so I think m.pire wasn't removed by TRI. Just my 2 cents.
And yes, to the guy, who didn't know that m.pire surrendered, indeed they surrendered first which didn't really leave FATAL and CoW much choice than to do the same considering that the combined numbers of m.pire/fatal/cow weren't enough to defend.

Unlike the UXM one that died in lowsec, I can guarantee that this M.Corp mothership will only be used on the front lines of Branch, hopefully squishing many a RZR pilot into a horrible death.

sorry you cannot have this MS.. it is to be used only in Branch.

It's not a question of being "out-lawyered." Not at all.
See, Velios knew all along that TRI wouldn't be able to remove M.Pire because MM & Co. were going to do it first.
Sure, if M.Pire had managed to stand up to the rest, then TRI would have pwned them, but Velios is a solid FC who knew his alliance had no hope at all of getting that far.

It's funny that in every thread but this one M.Pire/FATAL/CoW cry about Tri & X other alliances helping MM & RZR to attack them.
As for the bet, this is why you aren't allowed to bet on yourself since you can throw a game (or surrender, not that they had any chance of staying anyways) before the bet time elapses. It's only fair though that M.Pire give the mothership, since FATAL was kind enough to give a brand new outpost which is comprable isk wise

I think he's is saying that of the 15+ alliances you say were involved, only a few of them were actually dedicated to forcing you out. Having 5 guys from an entire alliance does NOT represent having another alliance attacking you.
I'm sure if you looked at the numbers involved, and made a good list of who from what alliance, you'd see that only a handful of those alliances were contributing a good deal.
We all know that rzr/mm/friends can certainly bring a huge fleet...but do you remember when Mpire and friends had a 300 man blob on the LXWN gate in BKG? You can hardly complain about being outnumbered alliance wise when you can bring just as many to the field.

I think youre mistaken, I'm sure as Hel not complaining, im taking my hat off to them for pulling resources from so many different places.
That does take effort, and that is deserving of credit.
Some of the best fun ive ever had in eve has been over the last few weeks against RZR/MM, so there is no disrespect being shown here, my hats off, for a game well played.

The bet wasn't over whether TRI or RZR would kick M.PIRE out of their space, it was whether M.PIRE would hold out until the end of September. They clearly did not.
I'm sure Dungar is smart enough to know he probably isn't getting paid, because come on, this is ex-LV we're talking about here, but that doesn't change the fact that Velios was not saying "I'll bet you RZR will kill us first!" and relying on a technicality to wheedle your way out of paying up is pathetic.

Yea, we did nothing, infact we started the attack on Fallen Souls, alone. We kicked them out of deklein, at which point alot of the old coalition hit them in Branch. Or how about the other M.Pire/FATAL blues that we kicked out of Deklein before you even started your major attack on them. We did more than you know or are willing to give credit for.
My hat goes off to MM and RZR though, didnt think you guys would lay the final blow this fast.

Believe it or not, we don't enjoy having tons of blues. We don't go back on promises either. And surprisingly enough we're not crazy about PoS warfare.
Lets do all those things in one stroke: Backstab people that helped us for space we don't want so we can siege more towers.
TRI's space is safe. M.Pire/CoW/FATAL/ Fallen Souls alone was a powerbloc nearly twice the size of RZR/MM, that's before we even mention the MC and YW support that would have shown a month down the road. We don't fight because we like blues, we fight because if we hadn't everyone up here would have been wiped off the map/relocated half a year ago.

Well to everyone who says TRI did nothing. FS giving up was what was gave us the smell of blood. And FS giving up was 100% a TRI effort noone else. ;)
This wasn't a team effort as in coordinated between TRI and RZR/RAWR bloc but it has worked out that way with TRI managing to disband the entity with least resolve among our hostiles.

sadly we never get to see that mom make a single kill since it was inside a pos along with the other moms the entire weekend

Dungar would lose it within the week and I would probably help the attacking force do it.

I'd say that this looks like a bet on a horse race where both horses got shot before the race started.
Yes, M.Pire. got booted from BKG. Sorry Velios, this bet doesn't go to you.
No, Triumvirate didn't kick M.Pire out. Sorry Dungar Loghoth, I'd say it doesn't go to you either.
That being said, I honestly don't expect that this post will mean anything whatsoever. (Then again, it's not as if anyone's opinions on CAOD mean that much anyways.) However, if both parties cannot settle on the bet being void, I will voulenteer my wallet to store the ISK from both parties until the victor of the bet can be agreed on. Don't you wish everyone in CAOD was so willing to lend a helping hand?

I say the bet has been invalidated.
The bet was TRI would remove M.Pire easily by the end of September.
M.Pire was removed easily by the end of September.
There is no way to tell if TRI would have able to do this, because the target was removed by an outside entity before the bet could come to fruition.
Thank you. --
