Technically I think the NAP was first violated yesterday when MPire warped a freighter to one of MM's POSs, the only one without a scrambling battery, and it died. I don't know if it couldn't turn around in time or the pilot was asleep but lmao

I'm not going to comment on the kills - I'm sure there will be plenty of that from everyone else.
But...you spent 30bil on safe passage for 5 freighters full of battleships?
I'm no genius in economics, but I think even had they all got safely to destination that would have represented poor value for isk - no?

Quote: Tissa: Fatal revelations and Fatal inquesition have not handed the pos + moduals + fuels that were promised to razor and MM as part of the nap. UKC finds this dishonest and wrong.
Tissa: UKCs position is that the NAP that was offered was fair and probably a lot more respectful to us than we would have been to them, we will uphold this nap

Not sure but on the mm kb it seems a FATAL guy shot a MM ceptor first, looking at the time on the km, but could be wrong ?

UKC were informed earlier this evening that the NAP was due to end earlier than had been agreed due to parts of the surrender agreement not being forthcoming by some of our allaince at the sepcified time.
We decided to evacuate the last of our gear earlier than was planned. We knew the risk and knew that we may not be able to get our freighters out to empire before the new dealine.
As far as i was aware, we were not carrying anything that was covered under the surrender agreement in any of the freighter.
We were aware of a large hostile fleet ahead of us on our route. We had also been told that they were planning to shoot us - this was AFTER the new deadline.
We decided to take an alterantive route. Our freighters jumped into the system and a request was made for us to stop them and be scanned. They were scrambled to prevent warp-off and duly scanned. Both of thes actions were seen as hostile as the request had not been made clearly enough that they were only looking for banned items. Our FC ordered the destruction of the scanning ship.
Nervousness in twitchy fingers on both sides ensued and battle commenced, the result of which was the loss of the 3 freighters plus their contents and other ships.
Now, you can put whatever spin you want on this, but, afaik, these are the facts of the matter.
Some posters in this thread really need to remember that this is a game! Nothing else!!

My guess would be that he's talking about the outpost FATAL put up a few days before the surrender? Or maybe that's what their POS equipment was worth..

So, in the end, 2 days of surrendering costed you more than 1 month of war.

Edited by: Cefte on 02/10/2007 21:48:23 Regardless of the politics, I find the operative moment somehow pleasing. Player freighters being scanned at gates by a player alliance border control gang to search for goods deemed illegal by treaty. How cool is that?
