Awe's account of the major battles is pretty accurate but he leaves out the countless 5-10 man raids that have made frege space all but unlivable for the last what 3-4 weeks? It hasnt all been Katet sure but tbh there was probably 2-4 large raids a day minimum, just from us, as well as retaliationary strikes back from frege. At this time Smashkill were fighting up north, securing mj- or simply preparing for heading up north. AOD had stopped attacking frege and had instead turned its attention towards Rule. I for one am happy to publically state that I was worried we would be overwhelmed by frege, as we were the only ones fighting heavily at that point. Also not mentioned was my own self nomination for stupid call of the week when I jumped a 20-25 mixed cruiser gang into a 50man frege gate camp in 9iz. I swear thought the scout said one carrier in system. He actually said four. result= 20-22 cruiser losses/2 bs kills But seriously lets go beyond this talk of carrier support/ "blobing" cose any FC that doesnt utilise all availiable resources is kidding themselves. Thats not "blobbing" from either side- its valid tactics. I lol'd at the person who cant read Actually i called him the nub with a cake on the end, i dont specialise in t1 rifters i cant even fly them,i mean my uber velator with its 1 tritanium, civillian blaster just uberwtfpwnzored your capital fleet, oh epeen extender! yeh we need more fc's like you, one that is willing to admit to his mistakes but still not be smart enough to avoid them. but yeh most fun iv honestly had is the cruiser blobs its quite hilarious how we killed multiple drakes, hacs and command ships which were alone each worth more then our fleet, value for money or what kind of reminds me of pooh <3 ventro!

Frege had all of the remaining moons covered. Couple to that, another station 2 jumps away...while Smashkill's main space is what, 20 jumps away?!! Look at the massive battle in FAT, where IAC and BOB (and friends) battled extremely hard for a month! Tactically the cards were stacked on Frege's side. Did Smashkill have a large amount of support, yes they did, but so what?!? Frege is large enough that it should have at the minimum made victory very costly. We have seen it in the north with M.Pire, Fatal and CoW, and now again with Frege...people unwilling to fight hard...people rather cut and run and protect their assets. I would bet that this 'victory' rings hollow to many Smashkill pilots, while some maybe happy with a win period, I know most would rather have had a hard fight...this was not a matter of spies, or intel, or dirty deeds that cost Frege its space, it was a failure to fight... I say congrats to Smashkill, too bad you didn't get the fight you expected and deserved...What's next?!? Want to sell NGM?? I know a small corp that might like it!

Well Wes, we're happy to win, but you're right: we were hoping for more of a fight. TBH, I think Frege was still bloodied from MJ-. They took some big losses there and a few of their "fighting" corps left after that I think. I think a combination of low morale and emptied wallets took their toll. I see that as of this morning, Lords of Maelstrom have left Frege. They continue to deteriorate.

Also, you had many chances to strike some hard blows to SK/friends. On day 2, you finally decided to fight, alongside Xdeath, outside the NGM station massively outnumbering your foes. That battle went horribly wrong for you (No leadership?) and after that pretty much nothing happened until the succesful strike on our caps alongside Xdeath again. I think Wesly is spot on. Low morale seems to be the issue and little willingness to fight. Understandable, even outnumbered Smashkill is all but easy prey, but Fleet battles are not the only way. Xdeath showed that, as do many small PvP/merc corps. Wesley knows what I'm talking about. Hit and run tactics with small specialized gangs can take the biggest fleets out piecemeal. As for "last stand" why wait until all your services are gone, the market lacking and your POS's all in reinforced/destroyed? Yes, victory loses its luster this way, and shooting POSes and modules all day without a skirmish now and then to liven it up.. plain sucks... There's little a sledgehammer can't fix. If you can't fix it, you need a bigger sledgehammer. If it's unfixable, blame CCP. :p

Nice kill for us (great work by our recon for warpin and webs) and a needless loss for FREGE . Got to say some of the smack in local is getting a bit OTT.

You could certainly say that A few FREGE have come out swinging, but mostly it's just been easy ganks, tbh. RECON killed a FREGE carrier at a FREGE POS earlier today, which was about the most excitement we've had so far. One a side note, whoever suffers the first loss at the hands of FREGE owes Capt Odama a back rub, and nobody wants that.

It's quite annoying reading all the crap about FREGE not fighting, we have been engaged in fighting non-stop for months, sorry to not cater to the blob and suicide my fleets in a 6 alliance strong meat grinder. When all of mad wimped out and blued Smashkill, FREGE was one of the few that didnt ***** out and beg for blue. And we get no respect from you people for not backing down. If I see an engagement where I expect to have half of a chance of not lagging to death and wasting my fleet, I will engage. If you wanted a good fight you should have stuck to the 50 vs 50 raids we have had to deal with for the last 4 months. Or did you forget all the countless times we fought in the last several months? The unchecked smack in local is only salt in the wounds and leaves many more bitter than is needed. There is such a thing as bad winners and Smashkill take the cake on that title. FREGE's failings were political more than anything, had RK and Smash rolled into ngm without thier buddies we would be talking about how they just had thier asses handed to them. So I give you credit for bringing the numbers. As it was your only chance at taking NGM from us. It's a shame we didnt get all 13 of your caps, as I would have concidered that full payment for my stations. I would like to say well fought and it was fun, however lack of any respect and all the gloating in local leaves a bitter taste for many of us.

I can't tell you how much I wish that we had had the opportunity to show you how wrong you are, but I guarantee you are wrong. I brought this up on a number of occasions with leadership as I did not want any help on this one, since you weren't getting help. But, in the interest of good relations with our friends, and for some (not me) in the interest of rapid conquest we went in with friends. I'll say that it has been a lot of fun flying alongside Atlas, Chaos, Ka-Tet, etc (Hi stella polar o/) and so on, but I was looking forward to a smashkill vs frege beatdown. Shame that there wasn't (I guess) a good opportunity for you guys to coordinate KIA, xdeath, abre, ic, and your own final stand. Could have been epic. Koronos

But I'm not involved in this war anymore other than a passing interest do to my past affiliations please take this as such
