I spent a lot of time looking for and researching corps to join looking through countless recruitment posts, corp websites, and looking at each corps attributes in game because I wanted to find a corp that was well established with a strong foundation, happy members, and most importantly it had to be a corp that I knew was here to stay... This is where Black Thorne came in!
BTC has lived it up to what I was looking for and gone far beyond that! How many corps out there can reliably offer a strong leadership, solid goals with direction, helpful members, active in all TZ's, and cater to all aspects of Eve? Not only that but we offer mineral and salvage buy schemes with excellent payouts, bonuses for missions, corp payed pvp bounty's, multiple weekly pvp roams, weekly mission nights, corp mining ops.... seriously you name it and we probably have it or have plans for it and if we don't it only takes a suggestion to get the wheels in motion in this corp!!!
We are currently expanding our NA/AUS/ASIA membership and already have one of the most active EU memberships around, so if your thinking about checking us out no matter what TZ you play in JUST DO IT!

Hmm ... not sure if that offer of Jastra is still up ... but even if not, we do offer more and more all the time.
3 examples of that:
- This weekend we had our first Asian TZ mining op
- Next week our official US TZ mining ops will start again
- Our newest FC did his second small-gang roam op last week too.

Each Division of BTC is going from strength to strength
Mining is supplying the expanding capital division with 23 hour mining coverage.
Mission runners are running a serious number of missions ( 75 million isk paid out as bonuses to the mission runners last week)
Cap division is expanding and looking to be come main suppliers to other alliances.
PVP fleets , training of FC's and Pilots being conducted in house and via Agony training.
0.0 complexes, WH's ..ratting events.
If you want to experience EVE and Corporate membership at its best then BTC / BTA should be where your heading for.

Just wanted to post what an amazing group of people BTC has assembled. I joined BTC in early November and I truly can not say enough about this corp. Having been away from EvE for almost a year I took my time searching for a corporation that I felt would be a good fit. I was tired of logging in and having to really work to find something fun to get into.
Well BTC has gone above and beyond any expectations I might have had. Daily ops are never a problem. There is always something going on in any time zone and you never have a problem finding someone willing to lend a hand or looking for more pilots. Mining, Ratting, Missions, Wormholes, PVP.... You name it it's there.
BTC is loaded with experienced players who are always willing to lend a hand or offer advice. Lets face it, EvE is very very complex, that's what makes it such an amazing game. The learning curve can be quite daunting to new players. Having the right corporation can ease that. BTC is that corporation. I have been able to learn more in the last few weeks than I have in years of playing. Being in the right corporation can really make or break this game for many people. I only wish I had found them earlier.
Take a few minutes to do a little research about BTC, stop in and talk to us in BTC Public. You won't regret it!

Really should be monitoring this thread a bit closer...
in answer to the question about voice comms..
Nothing is mandatory in BTC / BTA you can do as you please ..if you cannot use comms to speak then you can follow comms and reply via text.
Obviously this cannot be done FC's or Scouts.
