Rex Wolfen Caldari Caldari Provisions	Posted - 2007.10.05 11:23:00 - [1] Hi Fellas, first of all, english is not my native language so apologize for some "funny" grammar. After a longer period of absence i just restarted playing eve and now im missioning. Currently working for a caldari agent lvl 4 q 18 ( no, not the *** in motsu :). tho im born caldari ive started verry early train all the way gallente. Total skillpoints 25 mio. around 7,8 million skillPoints in gunnery ( large rail specc at 4 ), good drone skills, cap and navigation skills "maxed", same for armortanking skills. Gallente BS 5, caldari BS 3. I started using Domi for lvl 4 missions, but i dont like that drone fuzzle. After reading alot in this forum it seems the best way to run the missions is just the ....ya Raven. For this i just need cruise missile skill and some shild skills ( shield compensation ). So my Question is: would even the lower skilled Raven be the better way for missions then a verry good skilled Hyperion ? Eisprinzessin	Posted - 2007.10.05 11:38:00 - [6] i fly gallente bs for missions and you need absolut top skillst for missels and raven to be better in missions than a rail hype or mega with top skills. a standart tech 2 cruise raven ist no way as fast as a mega or hype. i know some people think it is but it is not. for raven to be kink of the hill in missions you need torps and targetpainters and faction tank so you can afford to fit target painters tank wise. for a cruise raven to be better you may need missel skills maxed and faction or officer lounchers. so if you are absolutly sure you wan to do missions all the time go raven and invest in faction tank and fitting otherwise use the skills you already have and skill something else than missels and caldari bs 5 missions in raven are more easy because you dont have to worry about tracking (you can fly semi afk) but i prefere turret bs for missions it is more fun and there is only one raven pilot i met that can match my speed or be faster depending on the mission.

Rex Wolfen Caldari	Posted - 2007.10.05 16:38:00 - [10] Hi again, well i have those sentries, and a sentry drone damage rig on my domi. right about it, theyre sweet and godsent for domi pilots. im about to refit my hyperion, but damn its hard to fit. even with AWU 5 it seems impossible to fit a full set of compressed coil 425ish rails on it without rig or fitting mod and t2 ab / t2 large repper. at them moment im running.... high: 7 t2 425 rails meds: 1x 100mn ab t2, 3x t2 cap recharger, 1x t2 tracking comp lows: 1x t2 large repper, 4x t2 active hardener, 1x t2 cap power relay playing around with EFT for an optimized fitting, maybe some faction bling ?

Been running missions only against kin/therm weak enemies? Raven's got a major advantage in that it can pick its damage type. ------------------------------ One more soldier off to war... Get a set of Dread guristas or Caldari Navy 425mm's, with AWU at V they use 340 pg less than a TII and 225 less than the Compressed or proto. They do use 15% more cpu tho'. range is 10% up on The TII using TI ammo. I use faction ammo from the LP'store. replacing 7 TII's with Dread you gain 2,380 pg which is 350 more than the 8th rail will need, = more PG for your repper than 7 TII's. I manage to fit 5 Dreads on my Domi with no Pg rigs or PDU's.

Ok, they are doable with an AB+ Blasters fit and tanking the mission by launch and scoop of drones, but that took over 2h to do a room, that can be done in 10 minutes in a drake... ___ P.S.
