I am planning on making a achura character who will be designed for Gallente ships. He will be my second character so the first will be able supply him with the skills and such for it. I was wondering if my stats setup for the new char would be "ideal" for my path. These are the stats before any learnings or implants.
Charisma 3 (nothing added)
Intelligence 10 (+2)
Memory 10 (+1 and +3 from Stargazer Ancestry)
Preception 10 (+2 and +1 from Stargazer Ancestry)
Willpower 6 (nothing added)
So I upped intelligence for support skills. Memory for drones which seems to me one of the core Gallente weapons. Preception since its primary for guns, ships and usable in nav + drones. Willpower is dropped because I dont think I will go into advanced ship command.
Basically I am asking if this would be a "ideal" setup for creating a character who will be flying gallente ships. If there is a more viable setup available please display it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looks fine. Might wanna tweak perception up a bit, but that's a personal opinion from me (I am an Achura who flies Gallente ships, and I've always regretted my perception attribute's relatively low-ness).

IMO your memory is too high.
Drones are a main point in gallente fighting, although there really aren't that many skills to warrant having memory your highest attribute.
I.E. I have 6 million skillpoints in drones and I think that is higher than most.
Lower memory a bit, add some* to willpower / perception. I wouldn' touch intel tho, got a nice solid number there.

I agree with dropping the added point to memory and putting it into willpower. That should round you out fairly well and with some learning under your belt and a set of +3/4 implants put you into the low to mid 20's for all 4 of your primary stats, leaving cha at its base.

want to spend alot of time training for rails? yuo will want to atleast get t2 med spec
also you dont want commandships?

Thanks everyone for the replies first of all. Currently I plan on going for a Dominix which from what I see is a drone boat ship. So, at the moment I do not plan on going to command ships.
