WHO TOLD that amarr its for large encounters?? WTF???? do u really play amarr?? In paper !! YEs u are good armor tanking... AND SO WHAT? U canot fight with ur lasers and still tank for a long time.. do u knew about???
if someone Nos u (even with the patch) Amarr drop dead...

BS. ESL people don't type like this. At least they don't do it out of a reduced understanding of English.
Oh, and to actually answer your question: Active tanks suck ass in PvP. I suggest not using them at all if you expect to face any kind of reasonable opposition and aren't just ganking people 6 to 1 or more.

There probably are none which can do both simultaneously as well as the Abaddon. But the Abaddon WILL cap out inside of a few minutes, and you have to shut off either the repper or half your lasers. Also, many ships can out-tank it (Drake anyone?), and many can out-gank it (Megathron/Hyperion anyone?)
