Do EvErs truly have no life?

I have a partner. I socialise with friends at the weekend just like any "normal" person. EVE is a game to me, plain and simple. I've always played computer games ever since I was a kid and I have no intention of stopping as they are an essential part of my relaxation and escapism from the daily grind that is real life. The beauty of EVE for me is that it can be made to fit in around my life. All I have to do if I'm busy is log in once in a while and change skills and my character continues to progress even if I can't get online so it's perfect for someone like me. The only annoying thing is from time to time I get other people in game who don't have jobs or a real "life" accusing me of a lack of dedication. Seriously, what does it actually matter if a POS goes down of if an alliance takes over an area? It's internet space ships FFS! *Edits for spelling

I'm from the UK and that was intended as a stressed us i.e. people with jobs.

Best most people can get is JSA, which won't even pay the rent, let alone living costs Job Seeker's Allowance in the UK is simply the cash they pay you to survive whilst you "look for a job." Rent and council tax are paid for you by the government on top of your JSA. On top of that, if you have children, you can actually end up better off in this county than you would be if you got a minimum wage job in a warehouse. How stupid is that?

Actualy im from the UK and the benefit system allows me to live a life of luxury. Oh look, another low life benefits ***, proberly got 7 kids by a 13 year old girl aswell dont you Cant wait till they scrap benefit's so scum like you wake up to the real world. And after that display of humanity I'm sure you'll be the first house he sacks to keep his kids fed and the drugs coming in.. FFS think about the peace and security welfare provides for those who have things that are worth stealing.. ***** narrow minded Gits I swear.. Oh.. And BTW "US" in this case means "us" as in "you and me" the providers of the tax money that lets that certain segment of society that would kill and rob us at the drop of a hat to stay stoned out of thier minds in their hovel of choice safely insulated from society at large.. Quite a good point, actually. Never looked at it that way before.
