I for one think that the royal family has done a service by taking the scientists away from the pirates. This was also done at a great expence (trillions). If Amarr paid for the technology then they deserve the rewards.
If the other empires wanted the technology then they should have banded to gether and joined their wallets together. And anyway, who was it that abandoned the scientists in the first place... Gallante and Caldari deserve not getting the technology for what they did.

If one buys a candy bar with a dollar, do I not deserve the candy bar. If I wish to share the candy bar, then it is my choice to share it, not someone elses choice, my choice.
Therefore, the emperor's son paid for his candy bar, let him choose whether he wants to share it.

The prince has made a deal now, so everyone should be happy. The location is somewher in the Kor Azor region and is probably why the servers are down for a short time.
Kor Azor should be very busy for a while...

Edited by: Haratu on 26/02/2004 12:56:24 "candy" refers to the technology, not the scientists, all the players in the news (pirates, gallante, caldari, amarr) have been after the technology, not the scientists... I suspect most players care more about the technology as well.
I can not afford paying for new tech, so I am merely a bystander making comments that happen to be true to the way the scientists are being treated.
In answer... NO, I am not an idiot.

Interestingly enough, the scientists are still in Amarrian space, the tech is free though. One question: what was freed? the scientists, or their ideas.
