Question: Are too many people reading too much into this? is it just a game?OR have CCP started a culture where they should be "best guess" try n be realistic and try to stick to modern theory?
Come on.... we all see it .... Warp drive this .... missiles that? Are we trying to push CCP to the limit (for the better/worse) or are they failing us (for the better/worse)?
I would suggest that they have done a bloody fantastic job; the market is IMO the best i have seen in a MMORPG. We really do dictate prices, how many other games do you see where people complain on forums about the sudden drop of X ore? That is excellent to me. Yes, dictated somewhat by CCP actions (the worse) but we did and will settle baselines.
Other opinions?

Monty your entire post made 0 sense.
Im guessing by your analogies your british or australian. Either way you should know how to write coherent english.
Yes this is a game *clap clap*. At what part of this whole thing are we not allowed to have a dynamic market etc. This is what the game advertised to be. So are you saying theys hould market eve as a space mmorpg and then make it a first eprson shooter becuase that only makes sense! Complete backwards.
I dunno maybe I need to learn british or australian to understand this.

Forget British or Australian (both in CAPS), I speak and am English being from London - go learn the diference from British, English and much to the dismay of many an Auzzie (Australian). We will not mention world cups at this point ;-)
They are questions... not suggestions or my opinions....
OK, let me clarify the portion that may be confusing you, "are they failing us" are we expecting too much .... its all the same.
I ask you ... are we expecting too much from the game, are these standards set by the already (in MMORPG) high standards that beating them would be extremley dificult? Take a look back at how many other MMORPG's can say; yes we have x, yes we have y... oh and we have Z sooo covered. But are we getting complaicent with this and expecting the impossible or are we pushing CCP further? Are we the driving force behind there concepts for the future? (Look at dev chats for reference)
Be happy and enjoy!
P.S I think the word "failing" may have been a very bad choice and for that I am sorry.

It's Aussie, actually.
The reason why we are pushing CCP is simple. They have promised us rubies, and in large part given us carbuncles. Game features which were promised at release still aren't here, and are slated to arrive in several months. Items promised "in a few weeks" still aren't here - and they were promised last May. Bugs still exist which have been around since release.
CCP is doing an acceptable job of moving along, but really, they need to get their timing right. And the tech2 release is a joke.

I failed to see any analogies in his first post wtf are you on about?
How is the market not dynamic?? We set the prices. Megacyte has gone from 12-16k pu to 8-8.5k how is that not dynamic???
Biggest clue to him being british would be the .co.uk web address... sherlock
Oh and that 3rd paragraph should be rather embarrasing considering you initial statement about being coherent.
