Hi there!
I played EvE about 3-4 years ago, now I came back started new account with fresh character. I prefer playing PvP game, so I'm learning minmatar ships, but I have very important question to community: How should I make money for my PvP ships and fitings?
I have some starting cash about 200mil ISKs maybe I shoud make new character and begin to trade in empire, or maybe create hi-sec miner. I thought about agent running, but it seems like minmatars battleships not very good for agentrunning, maybe I better create caldari pilot and teach him raven cruises etc.
I think making missions and PvP with one char will be hard, because PvP char can stuck in 0.0 and I can enter other character for earning money or something like that. Btw I'm not planning to get 2nd account at all, I can play only 1-2hrs. a day so I don't want theese hardcore players things.
Plz guys I need advice, thx all for responces! |

Don't do it in game at all. Instead spend your time driving a bit slower, or taking more time to comparison shop at the supermarket. Use the money you save to purchase PLEX, which you can sell in game for about 500 million isk right now. The isk per hour you get will be better than almost all in-game activities. Honestly, if your time is that limited, do you have the RL money to purchase a PLEX and sell it via the Timecode Bazaar?
For $35 you can purchase a 60 day PLEX, and sell it for upwards of 930 Million currently. That covers a whole lot of PVP unless you do something seriously wrong.
A lot of PVP'ers run this way, it cuts out the need to do any PVE at all and you get to spend your whole playtime doing what you enjoy for a small investment. |

Fly exclusively Tech 1 hulls with Tech 1 fits, and pick your fights carefully; or, don't pick your targets at all, and try to keep your total fitting cost below the reimbursement provided by Platinum insurance. A lot of corporations provide free or reduced cost basic ships to new members, like frigates and cruisers; for example, my own Alliance offers 100% free Rifters (and other tech 1 tackling frigates) for life, and you can make a small amount of money just from the insurance payouts when you explode. If you fit thrifty and occasionally loot a wreck here and there, you should be able to keep yourself in the green.
Remember that, especially in relatively small engagements, numbers are going to be a far more important factor in success than the quality of ships or fittings involved, and avoid the temptation to buy into the "Elite PVP" mindset where you come to think that you need to fit more and more expensive modules to more and more expensive ships in order to have fun. You don't. All you will gain from buying into that sort of thinking is to become very disappointed when you eventually get overwhelmed by superior numbers or tactics and realize that all the money you spent did not help you at all. I have been a multi-billionaire for quite some time now, and I've 66 million or so skillpoints, and my best fun in this game is still from just flying a Rifter as a suicide tackler; and, if you check my publicly available kill board data you will find numerous instances of my horribly-fit Rifter taking down stealth bombers solo, or me and a couple of friends taking down faction frigates and battlecruisers that cost hundreds of times as much as our stuff.

Why would Goon leadership need to live cheap with all that Tech income? Or are you just talking about the scrubs?

Golem takes too much time to learn, but I was thinking about Raven, can Raven with T1 fit do lvl4 missions? How much time it will cost for new character to be able to do that (if it mounth or less - than it's very good and will be my choise). |

I've found the easiest way for me to make isk for this character is my indy alt. You can do trading but in my experience i've found i can get more consistent results with industry and spend far less time on it.
If you put that 200 mil into building rigs or something, you could turn it into 1 bil pretty easy. Once you're at one bil you can make a lot of isk, as with everything the more time/isk you invest into something the more you'll get out of it.
With 1 bil and a few rig bpo's you can pull down 50 mil or so a day with very little effort and maybe 15 minutes. I don't know what you're pvp needs are but I could live off of 50 mil a day.
Having a mission alt is a PITA imo. You can make a lot of isk but it's time consuming, and horribly horribly soul suckingly tedious.
Mining you can do afk but the return is bleh.
Or like others said, if you've got the money buy plex. I have an issue with spending RL money(other than the subscription)on EVE so even though i could buy plex I don't.
TL;DR
Get an indy alt. |

Most people rely on an alt for trading/manufacturing/whatever. I never have had an alt in all my years, sometimes the isk has gotten pretty thin. However, something has always happened (faction item drop, selling loads of T2 loots) that has boosted my isk wallet. So, while you won't be making billions like the industrialists, for us PVPers the game isn't about ISK (it's all about isk for them). So have fun, fly what you can afford, and things have a way of sorting themselves out. |

You got that a little wrong. You destroy the golem (or any other pimp fit ship) take the loot and PvP for the rest of the month without even thinking of you wallet. More gameplay, less waitplay! Down with AFK-Cloaking! Down with AFK-Alliances! Down with AFK-Mining! |

It's preety damn good way. I like it. How much skillpoints (minnimum) will I need for my character approximately to do success industry?
FeralShadow wrote:Most people rely on an alt for trading/manufacturing/whatever. I never have had an alt in all my years, sometimes the isk has gotten pretty thin.
I don't mean alt like second account or so (that seems preety hardcore playing for me). I mean create second character at same account and make money on those. So I think trading/manufactoring would be less skillpoints than lvl 4 mission agent. But most I like is PvP, that's why I want this game!

That's my dream, but I don't think I'll kill to much ship with expencive drop, but thx for advice.

This is my plan. I have no desire to mine, trade, create/use multiple accounts or anything else like that so selling plex and doing incursions will be my only way to make isk. I may try to rat to see how easy/quick that is as well

Get an indy alt.
Month passed, my Trade character with 450k skills made more than 1 Billion ISK in a month(from starting 80kk), but I found this method taking time, and when I'msitting at work correcting orders - it's not good(for work ). So now I've bought PLEX, and have about 700-800 million ISK I want to invest in Industry, maybe I'll get less money, but it will take much less time. So I have some questions about that:
1) Do you have your money byuing minerals from sell orders and selling your manufactured stuff by buy orders? 2) Production Efficiency V - required or not for decent incoming? 3) I think it's better to produce and sell in come other regions than Forge, because jita demping much.
P.S. Or plz advice an afk method making money from starting capital 700-1000kk, that would take not so much time to train skill , and to make ISKs(because I don't like 2 accounts or more, all my characters - trader and PvP at the same account, so I won't make another - not my style). I have 2 remaps on my trader, so can make any stats for him. |

Ninja looting is one of the highest paying jobs for an individual and with an almost non-existent bar to entry and a little skill and luck you can actually get quite rich with a minimal commitment of time. I really don't know why more people don't do this... but I guess if everyone was a ninja what would there be to loot? Still... ninjas are viable components of the eve ecosystem.
