Are the Petitions with the "Other" category no longer working? They used to be handled quite quickly.
They are supposed to get back to you with an initial e-mail within 24hrs. Is it true that this is now taking a week or more for the 1st response?
Or have they stopped dealing with "other" petitions completely now?
Peeps views and observations welcomed.

Edited by: Serilla on 21/02/2004 14:35:07 from what ive experienced other petitions dont get answered. Sent one in when castor came out, due to bugs i had. Still no response. Sent another in 2-3 weeks ago, because my ship exploded and noone even shot at me. In .8 empire space, evemail said 'Eve System' destroyed my ship. Still no response on that one either. *forgot to note this bug happend 3 times that day. Lost a iterion 5 and 2 shuttles*
All the other petitions ive had to send in.. Stuck petitions lol.. Most of them got answered pretty quick though.

'EVE System' a lot of the times means npc pirates killed your ship, but I've had a bug like that before where my ship just exploded for no reason, but that was back in beta.
I imagine they just have a lot of other petitions to go through, things like stuck petitions or exploit petitions, those all get answered before the 'others' do.

Other pets work fine. Just don't use a free email address like hotmail (or any other that has a big anti-spam filter on it) when you send one in because Hotmail will say its junk mail and *delete* it. Thus - you 'never get a responce' and the petition is closed.
You *have* to reply to the auto-email to get the help.

My last "other" petition was dealt with w/o me ever getting the auto-response that I have to reply to.
The one before that, I'm still waiting for any sort of response at all, and it's been so many months I don't even remember what the petition was about.

Hello everyone.
As stated many times before: All petitions are answered, that is our workrule and has always been. However, we have to get the petition/mail before we can answer it. Here is an article detailing some of the things that might be behind those mysterious disappearing petitions.

I've only ever posted one "other" petition and it was answered within a week - wasn't happy with the result but it was answered (and, though I wasn't happy, there wasn't much else I could see that CCP could do about it).

Thanks GM Ark, I have not even received the auto reply yet, and it has been almost 4-5 days.
I have never had a prob in the past getting them.

Grizwold, I looked you up and you have no less then three petitions waiting in our email queue, as well as one waiting for a reply to the auto answer. We have a little backlog at the moment, as we were completely overrun with petitions after Castor. We're getting there though and you should get an answer very soon to your mails. Our apologies for the delay.

I also have an apparently 'lost' Other petition.
I have not even had the auto reply and it has been nearly three weeks now. This was for a fairly serious issue (for me at least) of a disappearing Blueprint.
It would be useful if we could see if we had petitions pending at least. Other petitions appear (to the unsuspecting client) to have dropped into a black hole.

Quote: 1. If you sent a petition in the "other" category, or emailed [email protected]: a) Make sure that you've replied to the auto-reply. If you did not, we will assume that the auto-reply helped and that the matter is solved. Your petition will time out if we haven't heard back from you within 48 hours. b) Ensure that your browser or email client isn't blocking these e-mail addresses: [email protected] and [email protected]
(a) Never received an auto-reply, so I can't respond to it. (b) Check. Neither address is blocked.
Quote: 2. If you sent a bug report...
Nope, it was an "other" petition.
Quote: 3. Should you have misfiled ...
Nope, it was an "other" petition.
Quote: Of course, when there is a substantial load on our queue, the response time may increase. If it gets extremely high, we will try to announce it on the EVE website (or send a standard reply about it to those who are waiting).
Mine's been over two months .. would you call that "extremely high?"
Like I said ... I can't even remember what the damn petition was about, now. So there isn't even any point in you responding to it any more.
