Edited by: Khaladan on 12/10/2007 19:17:50 Here is a setup I have been using for the last week. It has served me very well. The low-end faction stuff is for bling value as I finally caved in and bought some last weekend, feel free to replace with TII equivalents.
Note that this setup is -only- for missions vs. Blood Raiders and Sanshas (I decline anything else). Never tried it in Guristas/Serpentis/Angels missions but I suspect it would be at best a masochistic exercise.
Highs: 8x Mega Pulse II w/ Scorch/MF/UV <- (for cruisers who get close while you were smoking BSes) Mids: 1x Shadow Serpentis Tracking Computer, 2x Cap Recharger II, 1x Heavy Cap Booster w/ 800s <- (this is for emergencies - usually not needed, but gives added security) Lows: 2x Armor Thermic Hardener II, 1x Armor EM Hardener II, 1x Amarr Navy Large Armor Repairer, 3x True Sansha Heat Sink
Rigs: 3x CCC I
For drones I carry Hobgoblin IIs to kill frigs while I pewpew BSes and cruisers. Hammerhead IIs are then deployed when all light frigs are dead, for killing larger frigs and cruisers who get close.

Edited by: Therese Law on 15/10/2007 11:40:42 just invested in some mega pulse II and will try it out with this setup...
8x mega pulse II 1x heavy booster 2x tracking comp II 1x cap recharg II 1x LAR II 3x hardener II 2x heat sink II 1x CPR II
i plan to use my boosters and if i find a nice lvl on tank vs gank i hopefully remove th CPR and the CR and replace them with another tracking comp and a heat sink or a AB maybe... loot > refine > build boosters >
will use both t2 ammo for my guns... hopefully it will be worth it. no T1 ammo atall, just pure gank and either be in range for short range or use the long range ammo and still kill fast. --

cause t2 crystals generally suck, because they burn out fast and cost a fair chunk of change.
Conflag is extremely bad because it ruins your tracking, and it's close range at that. You kind of shoot yourself in the foot. With Navy Ammo out there it makes conflag useless, It's rather cheap for how long they last.
Scorch is the exception since it provides both DPS and Range for pulse lasers, it allows pulse lasers to have the dmg of Gamma, but the Range of Radio.

yeah i notice, scorch is nice with the range and damage. and if tracking is bad with confl i can use multi atleast. --
