Tholarim you want to say something about the chain of events? Lets, please.
We came down to help you. We came down to fight along side of you despite our past history. We were there to support you.
NO ONE in STK mined a single roid. Maybe a couple of guys shot a rat or two in an NPC station system BEFORE you talked to me, but not after.
My guys were our roaming with Bob and came back to dock for the night and were locked out. They were there when FAT fell, but couldn't dock. This is how you treat your allies? Toss on top of that the 42b for M.Pire each month? That offer came before the lockouts, so what? You were pressuring us into taking it?
M.PIRE doesn't owe you a damn thing.

Fata Mea did a good job writing up the chronological order of events on SHC, I suggest people read it if they want to know our reasons.
After our treatment from BoB we're standing up on our own two feet and saying we're not going to take it. Does that mean we're joining Goon? No, we're still M.PIRE. We have had some serious offers come in and we are evaluating each one and will decide whats best for M.Pire, like Velios stated. If that means flying down to Feyth and shooting RISE, K-9 here I come. If it means opening a 2nd front somewhere else, then thats where you'll find us.
MC has our respect, that has never changed. BoB took over the situation and made it intolerable for us. We won't pay 42b, 6b or even 6m a month. We don't pay rent, ever.
For the troll saying we didn't consult our alliance, I guess you didn't read the 24 page thread on the STK Forums debating this very topic did you? Nah; we just sprung it on the guys by surprise.
Flame on, flame away, I could really care less. M.Pire has more respect from it's former enemies than it's former 'allies' - that says enough.
