Tholarim, life is far to short for regrets.. Feel free to set us -10 right now. Look forward to fighting against the best, perhaps something might rub off on a lowly grunt such as myself.

Proves one thing I guess, record these kind of discussions that lead to such grievous "misunderstandings" in future.. , We've upset the Dice/Ex Shinra members of BOB, somewhere along the road, and STK being one of the more vocal ex ASCN corps, this was never going to go down well..
As for senior BOB trying to pull the "OMG your leadership is taking you down the garden path!" Seriously..

Originally by: Gontard So a couple of MPire leaders weren't unable to solve a diplomatic misunderstanding and got it to the forums.
The regular MPire member is now confused. Bottom thing is that a couple of guys made a decision without consulting their alliance.
First effect : MPire is down 300 members in less than a day. That's 30%.
It's true , sucks to be a MPire guy, you had a certain enemy for months, that took your space and humiliated you in every corner and now, suddenly, you sre told that your best buddie are the goons.
If someone failed here ... look at the top.
You either replace them or leave.
Your right :) We had no issue what so ever dealing with a diplomatic situation, our counterparts on the other hand were not interested in resolving this one. As for member count, sure we've lost a lot of good people recently due to being in empire once more. But we've yet to see any effect from yesterdays announcement. As for the guys making a decision without consulting the alliance? Don't be silly.. I'm just a grunt, yet I've seen this coming for several days.. No one has any excuse to state they knew nothing about this. And forum trolls you've nothing to base your smack on :)
Good day!

We do not want space in BoB's backyard, and we don't really care about our friends on the frontline enough to stand and fight with them. We are instead looking for space in the Goons backyard, because we are tired of being called pets, and we won't get called that if we are pets to the Goons. Oh, and it doesn't cost as much either. Yet.
**** you BoB, and **** you MC even if you gave us space before. **** you all in the GBC because we're joining the side that are doing well right now. Maybe we'll be back later, but in the mean time, **** you all.
Signed
M.Pire."
"We, M.Pire, look upon ourselves as a sovereign alliance, are saddened by you're (Band of Brothers) recent high level diplomatic actions. We find your original offer of 6 billion isk per corp per month to be concocted purely to insult our sensibilities, We did not want space in BoB's backyard, and simply wanted to be on the frontline alongside our friends to stand and fight with them. We are instead entertaining offers from entities outside the GBC because we are tired of being called allies, yet being treated like common criminals. Early diplomatic communique from Goonswarm/TCF/RA/IAC/AA are interesting to say the least, which is surprisingly refreshing, considering past animosity. Oh, and it seems their friendship doesn't cost as much either. Whether that changes remains to be seen :)
In closing, Shame on you BoB, we'll miss flying with you MC we'll never forget your help securing Branch. Who knows what the future holds for this small galaxy,
Fly safe and see you ingame.
Signed
M.Pire."

If you read it again, I never even hinted that you or your corp were traitors. However, in answer to your question, no hard feelings, no. As anyone who has met me at an Eve meet will tell you, I am happy to get falling down drunk with any Eve player, no matter their ingame affiliations, and I understand that is something you can relate to.
Im a bit of a light weight.. but it doesn't stop me trying!

I have to say I do love drama etc.. But personally I'm *****ing up atm because.. I love the fact Fendragun and Avon have pretty much sealed BOB's counterspin and confirmed our origional claims.

Originally by: Avon Do they honestly rate themselves above MC, who don't even get the access to Delve to which M.Pire thought themselves entitled?
Come on now Avon.. The only reason anyone was even in Delve, is due to renting the nearest available front line office this latest angle you chaps are trying to spin really is a load of *******s.
The damage has already been done? Forget about saving face and leave this topic die tbh..

Those of any sway in Fatal at the time, along with COW were contacted..
But what makes me laugh.. is this point coming from you? I seem to remember you leaving Fatal long before any of the real battles occured up north.. and a rather large stink over the matter..

So you are, in a rather long winded manner, agreeing that: "almost the entire Eve community has come out in support of M. Pire's decision", is untrue?
Ahh now I understand.. Your offering to buy the first round at the next BOB BBQ meetup? am i rite?
