That they wanted to integrate MS Access databases in an EXTREMELY easy, manageable way? Oh- it wasn't Macromedia, it was Allaire. 
CFM is not dead! It's extremely efficient and flexible enough for rapid deployments and updates with webkits.
I do asp, sql, php, and cfm. Let me tell you-- they all have their uses. When it comes to an intranet site that gets updated hundreds of times daily, I'd rather use cfm.
Edit: I wear clothing. And my cave is nice. You're just jealous because CFM bought me the Saab 9-5 I park in it.
Edit 2: ^^ They are rare here.

I've debugged CFM, and I'll be damned if it didn't make my eyes bleed, head spin and cause three priests to appear shouting "The power of Christ compels you" ...
Untill the b****rd daemon was expelled ...
Each to there own, but cfm makes me wake at night screaming "KAAAAAAAAAAAAAHN!" ..... erm maybe not

Perhaps CCP should take a lesson from me.
As my budget is alot smaller then CCP's i can only afford using limited amounts of hamsters to keep my comp and monitors going , not to mention buying em stockpiles of food.
The answer to my problem came very easy , cats.
These amiable creatures can make a hamster run like hell just by standing near the computer case and enabled me to not only run my comp at full speed but i now also have a coffee machine in arms reach aswell.
Having cats around will save you loads on buying french cheese and cats will do it for free happily.
I leave my cats next to my comp in turn , 1 'motivates' the hamsters while the other 2 go out filling their own belies with mice.
