Make a portal on the floor by the ledge, and another as high as you can get on the wall. Go through the floor one, out the wall one, back through the floor one and you should have enough speed to get through.

Yes but the order in which you make the portals matters greatly. You have to put the first one on the lower ledge, THEN one above the door. You will the be able to reach the platform just underneath the zappers. Then you put a portal just under your feet, and you'll pop out by the door again. Now you put another portal on the ledge underneath where you started. Jump into it, and you'll have enough speed to make it onto the zappers. Just time it right otherwise you fry and you have to start over again

It's nice but I really wish the real Portal game would work. I paid 20 quid to Steam for that game and it freezes up every time I go through the first portal. Have waited nearly a week for a reply to my support request. steampowered.com are not my favourite people right now

Mine and my friends have all crashed alot. Delete and DL again has worked wonders so far.
What a shame. I ran all the way through it without a single crash.
Don't blame the game when your hardware/crappy Windows install may be at fault.
I checked. It's not. Anyway I'm re-downloading it to see if that makes a difference.
