It looks great. Really great. As in, almost perfect. There's just one thing, and this may just be me, but it lacks something. It lacks... a face.
On the old prophecy model, you can clearly see it has a "command deck" sort of face to it. A sense of direction. Basically what it is, is a cluster of slightly brighter and more clumped lights toward the front of the ship.
While this complaint seems really trivial, please take it into consideration. The upcoming new model for the prophecy [and concurrent t2 ships] has no direction, no "front" other than the obvious formed by its curves. It lacks personality solely because of this. It really just looks like a shiny gold capsule [with high res textures, mind you] that is aerodynamic in one direction.
In my opinion, anyway. The rest is great.
I did a quick shop, just to get an idea of what this would be like... keep in mind it's just to represent an idea.

and I like how you didn't use big squares but more circle natural looking clusters.

The new Prophecy model looks really good...and I hope that CCP pick up on the feedback about window appearance/scale both here and in other threads dealing with this topic.
I notice that the geddon pics have disappeared from the news item...back to the drawing board perhaps? 
btw CCP...SHOW US THE NEW RAVEN!!...it can't be that bad...can it?

The real test of the update won't be if it can manage 600 man fleet battles but if it can make that atrocity actually look half decent.

What I am missing with the new model are the 2 "eyes", those really gave the ship some character.

Imo the Prophecy would look much better if it had a bridge like the omen/zealot has.

Think I actually prefer the original Prophecy, it just looks dirtier and more battle scared - just how a brute of a ship like that should be.
All these new ship models just look far too clean and clinical, more Star Trek than Star Wars :(
And yes you are spot on about the lack of a bridge/command centre, seems that someone forgot to turn the lights on in the new ship

Except, ofc, that placing the command center/bridge near the outer hull on a pod-ship, where all readings/visuals are from camera drones, is foolishness, bordering on insanity. Anyone competent designing such a ship would put it in the deepest part of the hull possible.

I'm sure that the light / porthole bitmaps are still a work in progress, as similarly, the new geddon is a patchwork of very rough sketches of where the actual portholes are :)
I'm sure the armored chicken will get its face in the full release:)

It's a video, not a screenshot. Also, I imagine that these are all work in progress, and so things will be changed and made to look better overall. I'd save judgement for the new models for when CCP announce that they're all completely done.

Ya if you have seen the vodoo pics youl also see the brutix. It looks butiful except for the lights at the very front. That whole strip of lights for the command deck and all the other forward decks really gave the ship a menacing personality and a huge appearance. Now thats its many seperate lights and not a whole deck of them it looks less impressive / menacing.
