Well.. it seems that BoB & Allies have made a big mistake engaging the Coalition in the north.. time passed by and alliances such as D¦ IRON FLA ect. got removed from the north. Razor got Scattered but yet managed to survive! over time razor MM & allies made a slow yet effective comeback against M.Pire, F4T4L and COW ect. RAZOR Emerged stronger than ever and the coalition along with TRI defeated them.
And now after they are gone RAZOR is left in the north allong with their allies. Does this mean RAZOR will take revenge on The Alliance soon? Will they kill everything on their path?? Or will they remain where they are now.

How can it be percieved a mistake taking the fight to there doorstep after they tried to invade fountain? Favour was returned and paper tiger was exposed. It was unhealthy for them to have so many blues and if anything, the shake up territorially and politically has breathed some new life up there which is good

Tbh the collapse of the North was the best thing that happned to the region, because now the alliances that have emerged back from that are much stronger than when they were when D2 was running the show

It's true, I keep trying to fix the map to show that it's all under BoB-blue control, but for some damn reason that yellow keeps coming back. It's the strangest damned thing I tell you... ---- AUS Corp Lead Megalomanic EVE Automated Influence Map: Keeping Down The Clone Business Since 2007AD |

In an attempt to remain on topic, I do not believe it was a mistake for BOB forces to engage the north. At the very least, it bought them time. And as you said, a paper tiger was exposed. They effectively removed a major northern threat in a very short period of time, and threw the north into chaos of radical change.
Granted, Razor has survived much stronger then before, but all other former holders in the north left (IRON), surrendered (FLA), or completely fell apart (D2).
But BOB can no longer just expect to not consider any northern alliances (MM, RAZOR, and PURE) a threat. They will come, at the time of their choosing. And BOB will not be able to rely on MC to pull off another miracle invasion, for they have them tied up in Catch. IÆm hoping to see the tides turn once again in the Coalitions favor very soon indeed.

MC took the opportunities given to us for creative destruction. We put a lot of effort into creating a varied, interesting, map in the North, out of the ashes of D2's empire. You could have played EVE up there for a year and enjoyed only scenarios that the game works for. Instead you blobbed up and stomped over it all. You chose to create the North YOU wanted, and had the strength to do it. Fair enough; we did it too. But you know what is going to happen if you join the lagfest with more hundreds of pilots.

Well, true tbh. D2+friends did declare war on BoB, not the other way round. And I don't think anyone seriously expected D2 to be made of so much marshmallow that they'd disintegrate with barely a single shot fired. And IRON withdrawing without bothering to fight was a bit of an unexpected blow too. And bless FLA, for all their effort and enthusiasm, just weren't MC-beaters on their own. The surviving Northerners look nothing but stronger and meaner these days than they ever have.
Obviously I've got no real clue, but I'd guess the Old North might tone it down a bit for a while now that they've reclaimed a lot of their original space. POS wars are terribly wearing, and I expect they could do with a break from them for a little while (I know I would if I were them).
Tri, on the other hand- if/when they defeat YW, they'll be wanting another target. Since the only neighbour targets are the Old North and the GBC, and they've spent the last few months killing nothing but BoB pets/allies, theres every possibility they could decide to press on to the West.
/end of baseless speculation. ------

I will agree there is a New North and a much stronger one at that. It will not fall nor give in as easy as the old alliances of the past. The Battlefield has changed. this New North will not tuck tail and run. A new day and danwn has come to the north. Keep an eye on the influence map over the next few months. It's the Dawn of Super Power Alliances.

Remember back to before the war. Before the "Chowdown, we're stealing your targets" post BoB was routinely taking "recreational" trips to the north. In fact, during one of those BoB "recreational" trips to the north, they announced they would invade goon space since the RSF presented a challenge (and implied that the north did not). The reality was that the north was preparing for a full scale BoB invasion when LV started calling BoB for help. So immediately after you switched targets, the north decided to counter attack by invading fountain.
I do agree that having so many blues was unhealthy for D2 and that the shake up was healthy for them.
