EVE Online: Crucible 1.1 has been deployed. This patch brings a number of improvements into EVE Online, including the new Neocom panel, rebalanced assault ships, ability for alliances to join Factional Warfare and numerous UI enhancements. For full details of this release please check the patch notes.

They make even LESS sense than the "current" ones.
Why are the Quad Lif and Lif boosters split between Prototype and Experimental? Why are the Catalyzed Cold-Gas Arc Jet and the Cold Gas Arc Jet split between Limited and Experimental? Same goes for the Monopropellants, why the split between Upgraded and Limited?
At least the Hydrocarbons are both "Experimental" and follow a proper naming convention.

Maybe a little late, but I liked the old ones. Added color.
When I read Module renaming, I thought of the shield resistances at once. Would have been logical to change the Meta 0 to something like "EM Shield resistance" or "Shield EM Hardener". But the Afterburners? Seriously? |

Having problems with the new UI in station. I can't click on anything, not ships, windows, or the new Neocom buttons. I can't even spin my ship. If I right click anywhere on the screen, I get the pop-up menu I would expect when right clicking on my ship. It seems that I can ctrl-TAB and switch between windows, but I still can't really select anything with the left mouse button.
Makes this update rather useless, since I can't really do anything! I can't even log off normally because even though I can hit ESC and the window pops up, I can't click on the Quit button. Had to Force Quit the client.
I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.8 on an iMac. |

About the patch
It looks good nice addings like always stuff like the neocom looks cool But i still see a issue like my last post Im playing now for almost 2 and 1/2 years this game and i have a seen a few patches
Some ver nice upgrades PI release was great (really love it) thx ccp
but now it comes my main part of frustrations
for the normal man who plays this game fun and enjoy like all of us but who lives in HI-sec or like others call it "the carebear country" are always the ones getting screwed for the ones who are living in 0.0 land or "the land of the brave" and with the last patch this even got worse.
- YEs the tower uses max fuel but this also means every normal corp living in hi sec now needs 2 get fuel for a tower running at maximum power and max usage when looking at the old system -PI taxes are still insane if u take in consideration the amount u get from a HI sec or even a 0.5 planet if u look at a 0.0 planet
and this are probly only a few issue's latly for ppl who are living in hi sec and trying 2 do their own stuff
or is it because im even a carebear ?

I downloaded the automatic update and then restarted client........nothing, the banner fires up then the client stops responding. Can't get it to work at all, tried copy pasting an old copy of the client and same thing happened, i saw the login screen but after updating it didn't reappear and the program went unresponsive.
Any ideas apart from a full new dl?, takes me like 20 hrs to download that and I'm in the middle of a char sale 
Oh, I'm on Vista btw. |

not so much an issue with this actual patch as it was introduced with the original Crucible.....I still have all show info windows opening in the default top left hand corner and nothing i do will make them open where i want them to. Any idea of an ETA on this as its an absolute PITA. |

Did you fix anything regarding INTEL HD Graphics crashing? I was able to logon to the game, undock and do 3 jumps WITHOUT the graphics crash.. after that it just went downhill and now i have the constant crashing annoyance again.. :( |

Could you try to run the repair tool? You should be able to find it as "Repair" in your Start menu (if you have a standard installation) or you can start repair.exe in the client folder. CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance

I have an english keyboard and cant use the "." (cent point button) on the numpad anymore to change market orders. Scrolling the mouse button still works to enter cent-values but the point-button is dead.

Was it intendet that the new inul. fields (Pith C-Type) drop in High Sec Plexes (4/10)? They are identic with Kaikka's Invul Field which is worth 2.7 Billions. Overpayed incusions are nothing against that.
Oh and try to link this the Pithum C-Type Invulnerability Field and click on it. Then read the text. It is wrong... |

I updated and EVE PC said something about a bad timestamp (expected 2011.21.01 got 2011.11.01 or something) and I had to run repair tool. Ran repair tool. Said everything was fixed. Ran EVE, same error. Back to reinstalling~~~
also the forum still eats posts which afaic is an issue |

After hittin finalize for a recustomization of a character's photo the client froze in that last view, while the character was still moving, I could not click on any control. The menu was showing up after hittin escape. The new picture was saved though after restarting the client. I am receiving an error message whenever I start the client after patching, I'm unable to install client update #1, and repair.exe is unable to resolve the problem. I'm running the client on Windows 7 64bit. Do I need to download and reinstall the entire client?

After patching, when I start the client I get:

EDIT: Also please make sure there is definitively no ExeFile.exe running on your PC before doing this.
I checked that ExeFile.exe wasn't running (it wasn't). I disabled my anti-virus. I ran repair.exe as administrator. I started the client.
No help: the error message is still appearing.
The log from repair.exe looks prety much the same as before.

When I "show Info" on a ship or drone BP, I get a blank window...
We found a workaround to hide the annoying chat button (put it on bottom and open windows until it goes into the >>> menu and then you can remove it), but no we need a way to get rid of the items/ships buttons when using the "merge with stations" option. |

Few things I noticed:
- On the Neocom, the blue bar below my avatar is obviously the skillqueue but the bar shows to be half full while i still have more than a full day of training left. I'm going to assume that the plan is (and if not it should be) to visually depict the state of my skillqueue, atm it doesn't.
- why can't I remove the channel icon from the Neocom?
- why must the item and ship hangar icons remain fixed at the bottom left? Why can't I move them around on the Neocom just like all other icons?
- why must I get an annoying icon on the Neocom when I open the ingame browser? i KNOW it's open as I'm looking at it, I don't need the extra icon. It would make more sense to visually show it on the actual browser icon. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

I checked that ExeFile.exe wasn't running (it wasn't). I disabled my anti-virus. I ran repair.exe as administrator. I started the client. No help: the error message is still appearing. The log from repair.exe looks prety much the same as before.
Could you try to delete ExeFile.exe manually and run the repair tool again.

Sorry, that didn't change anything. I repeated the procedure from before (checking exefile wasn't running, disabling AV, etc.); repair.exe detected that ExeFile.exe was missing and downloaded it but I still get R6034 when I start the client. |

a) Problem of course is just that people using an English client can't decide now to use the English notation. Many ppl pick the English client to be "compatible" to most other players. Maybe make it optional? As you made the language choice optional in the first place?
b) You used to be able to copy&paste numbers in market orders (setting up new ones, modifying current ones) - but it doesn't work now when using any value that has fractions of ISK. E.g., right now the client forces me to use the "comma" as fractions-of-ISK separator, and I can copy amounts from market orders to the clipboard. But I can not paste them back - probably because something checks for "make sure that only valid characters get pasted in here". Please fix that one, thanks! |

When I double-click on a station container to open it, no window opens. Instead a blue "i" icon appears on the neocom where the container appears on a menu. When I open the container from there, the window opens but is empty. No titlebar text, no items contents at all, just minimize/close icons.
I can't see or manipulate ANY items I have stored in station containers, and all my stuff is sorted into containers so I can't access ANY of my stuff. Most unfun.
No errors when patching, no other problems found yet. |

Linux/Wine here, so take with a grain of salt unless other people confirm.
1st, the compact chat member list is great, also the new neocom LOOKS good
Now the bad things:
1. Neocom icons - why do all things have that generic blue "i" icon when minimized ? I had scanner and fps monitor open. Had to wait for tooltip to see which is which. NOT GOOD
2. Autohiding neocom pushes windows (even pined ones) away as it unhides. the old neocom slid UNDER any window in its path. Also it snaped the window (chat in my case) to itself while moving. had to reselect the don't snap windows option.
3. Cannot move probes in the solar system map. FOr some reason I have to click into chat and then onto probes for the client to allow me to move them. And once I finish the moving, I have to do it again since they are not recognized as a movable object. |

I was experiencing severe FPS drop with the update. For instance, just opening an item hangar with 50 items in it would cut the fps in half. Same for just sitting in a POS. What apparently fixed this was updating from ATI Catalyst 11.11 to 11.12. That's for a Radeon HD6950. |

Yeah, tried that m8, ran for 30 mins then just said their was an error, wasn't specific but i noticed the start. ini was missing this is the last few lines

seems like quite a lot is missing tbh, strange cause it worked this morning.
Gonna try the repair tool again.
Are the servers gone down again cause my evegate mail is fubar too now?

(for some reason I can't edit my poast, it won't submit, but I can quote it, so)
Logged off due to the "emergency reboot", came back and looks like all the locations I saved in my "corporation locations" are where they are supposed to be, even the ones that kept disappearing. Sure seems like something is bugged.
Also, my People and Places window keeps disappearing as I log off and log back in, I have to pull it back up from the Neocom every time. The scanner window stays out but has that obnoxious "i" icon in the Neocom. Is that working as intended? Why do we need a button for just about every window on the screen on the Neocom, including an "i" button for some collapsed chat window groups? The scanner never had a Neocom button, it doesn't really need one now, especially not a generic "i" button that requires hovering over to see if it's a cargo container (also no need for a Neocom button), a chat window (ditto, there's already a "chat" button), a market transaction, or what have you. |

It appears that none of my accounts trained during downtime, and one actually seems to have gone backwards.
For instance, on one account I had a skill that was due to finish in 19 hours before patch was deployed. Today, that same character and same skill have 21h left to train. So, somehow, approx. 8 hours after I went to bed, instead of reducing skill training time by 8 hours, it went up by 2.
Anyone else have an issue like this? |

The clock of clients is now synchronized regularly with the server to reduce problems (like freezes at jumping) caused by unstable client clocks.
We're still experiencing this issue.

Currently on my client if my selected items box for any reason overlaps any part of the sun and it's "glow", the entire screen goes yellow. Moving the selected items box away from it causes it to stop. This may be the cause of reports in before 1.1 came out about the sun doing this, but it is now really bad.
Edit: This ONLY happens when the windows are "pinned" and more transparent, if they are unpinned then nothing happens when they overlap the sun on screen.
Edit 2: Turning off Sun occlusion fixes the issue so apparently the code is treating the UI as ingame objects? |

I believe this was mentioned previously. But for the purposes of getting the point across..
I want to remove the Chat icon from the neocom, all the Chat Icon does on right-click is offer me the Open Channels option. This and the Ships and Items icons are the only ones where this appears to be the case.
Regarding Ships and Items.. Why are they back on my Neocom when I have them merged? Seems pointless doesn't it? (they do not go away if I re-select the option in the settings menu)

If you are running more than one Character from the same machine, all the Characters (actually I've only tried it with two) will share the same browser bookmarks. The characters don't even have to be logged in at the same time. |

Hi,
I haven't seen this issue posted yet, so I thought I'd post it instead.
Since the patch, I'm having some sync issues every now and then on my laptop. Rats that appear in space, on the overview, etc, but cannot be targeted, giving me the notification that they are no longer there. Or a target that has been targeted, showing up as targeted twice, of which only one can actually be used to fire upon. When I tried to warp to a safespot, the client did not show me as warping, while it did give me the "cannot do X while in warp" notification when I tried to fire at a target.
I've heard from a corp mate that he had some sync issues this morning as well, that had to so with wallet transactions not being processed and shown, so it appears I'm not the only one having sync issues.
Anyone else having similar issues? I'm currently testing it on my pc, to see if the issue pops up there as well. |

(one occasion seen so far) The first time when coming back from the Map while flying through space, the in-space screen was black, the location icons where shown but the ship control panel showed no activity (speed at 0) even though the icons where moving and the overview was showing I was getting closer to the gate. Once I jumped, everything returned.
It didn't happen the second time I popped into map then back out.

Pretty cool you now can make a "Group" to the icons you use mostly and you can create more than one "Group" but seriously. If you have 3 Groups it probably takes some time to find the right one as they all are named "Group" and you cant rename them..
A option to move the Ships/Items icons around would be nice as of this moment I have opened Ships every time I should open my Items because they now are reversed..
Also a option to move that "Chat" thing into a group or whereever you want it. I really cant see why it has to be there..
As others have commented: Why this blue ! icon when you open a can or a secondary browser icon when the browser is open. It doesent make sense to me.
Still have an unsolved issue from the first Crucible patch. I use the "Cool Gray" theme but with the Transparency under Background Color set to 255 to make it more readable but every time I log in I have to go in and slide this down and then up to 255 again. If I dont do that then all my "Loading" info's are with a black background instead of the gray color. Dont steal my coffee !! |

May have a similiar issue. Running two windowed clients (separate installs), having regular stuttering sound and movement on the screen, and waves of annoying crackling though the speakers. (This is worse when undocked.)
Occasional freezes of the entire system (windows 7), which do recover ok.
Log out of EVE and the issues stop.
With the arrival of Incarna I went from being able to run 3 clients at the same time down to 2. With Cruible 1.1 it has gone from 2 down to 1...

For those with the same crash problem I had:
make sure to remove ALL EVE.EXE files and shortcuts and than as said make sure nothing runs, run repair tool and create new shortcuts from the new exe.
any old shortcut is very likely to give you the same error, I tested 3 of my short cuts for this and all gave the same error after I fixed the new exe downloaded worked.

Got the reply, it happens if the POS onlining timer goes into downtime which happened because of the emergency reboot. You can either wait till downtime tomorrow to fix this or petition for them to remove/reimburse the POS. |

After I hit "shift-ctrl-tab", which normally just minimize all windows, my local chat (not merged with any one window; also if I ever catch anyone in my alliance merging local with anything, I will kick that parody of pilot out of alliance) was gone. I saw it fleeing to "chat" neocom button, but other windows remain still, though. But somehow local chat was so scared, it won't get back by anything (clicking it under "chat" neocom button, shift-ctrl-tabbing again, asking loudly, petting the monitor, placing sugar where I want him to return, raging, begging etc etc)
And life in 0.0 without local chat is quite horrible.
I'm happy that client restart (after I managed to escape to safe place) helpd, but you know what? This bug alone places "new neocom" into euthanasia shortlist.
Also, don't know if it's new or old, but "#" column in manufacturing (invention, research etc etc) slot list contain 1s only. Yeah, we all like to be #1, har har. Having 20 "#1" lines, I dream about this my entire life. |

For some reason my client has decided that my monitor is smaller than it actually is. I have a 1680x1050 monitor but when I use the fixed window option with the correct resolution, it only shows a bit of the game. When I go to window mode and maximize the window the client thinks it's 1344x818... what's going on with this? Is it a known bug or something to do with my machine? |

Yes, at least for me, if I click OK in that dialog box the game continues to start and appears to be running normally. However, the problem does prevent installing any client updates. |

getting the message below after the last patch today. client runs the normal procedure when logging on, after processing bulk data it does not enter to char menu, nothing happens. when i try to reconnect i get this message.

I'm not sure which bit you want me to elaborate on.
When I click the game shortcut to start the client, I get the R6034 dialog before anything else appears. That dialog has a single button: OK. If I click the OK button the dialog disappears and game client continues to load without any apparent issues.
Once the game client is running it does its normal check for updates, and what happens after that I documented in my first post: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=700237#post700237

The client is picking the locale from the OS settings, not the EVE language settings. This breaks the decimal separator on non-english OS.

According to the new Neocom I have no chat channels open. http://my.jetscreenshot.com/7941/20120125-e1fz-10kb This is pretty painful seeing as I have 2 windows of chat channels, and when I minimize the unimportant one (with public channels and whatnot) I cannot get it back. (well, ctrl + tab still works, but sucks to do, can I just have a blinky button down at the bottom again?)

Something really was broken with Crucible 1.1 #2 client patch : 1) mouse started to jump and speed lowered in EVE and in other windows out of wine (Firefox and other) 2) when I try to refresh my science and manufacture jobs - second try to push button "Get jobs" causes time jumping from current eve to my local time and uncompleted jobs in list showed as already finished 3) I can see video playback issues and speed degradation in VLC media-player on second monitor when EVE is running on first

I've got a wierd isue when Im using scan probes in map mode where if the probes are moving and I click on the map, or move the map small (and ometimes large) parts of the screen will flash green. This also happens sometimes in regular (space) view, but I am not sure how to reproduce it yet.

There is no longer a sound when you activate/deactivate a module. You hear the sound when shift-clicking a module for overheating, but not on regular usage. The sound is important feedback to let the user know when the module icon has been clicked. Please restore the sound, thanks. |

Others have already commented about Corp Locations that are saved directly to Corp Location folders only appear for a short while and then vanish. This also happened yesterday though the BM's eventually showed up (possibly due to the emergency reboot).
I've tried clearing my Cache and this did not resolve the problem.

I have the same problem. I'm using czech version of Win7, but english keyboard and I have manualy set period as decimal separator in OS regional settings. EVE is using comma as separator regardless of this settings. |

Not sure if Khamal Kahn is reporting the same issue I did in post #15, but on my iMac it was not possible to click on anything in the UI, not ships, windows, or the new Neocom buttons. I can't even spin my ship. If I right click anywhere on the screen, I get the pop-up menu I would expect when right clicking on my ship. It seems that I can ctrl-TAB and switch between windows, but I still can't really select anything with the left mouse button.
Makes this update rather useless, since I can't really do anything! I can't even log off normally because even though I can hit ESC and the window pops up, I can't click on the Quit button. Had to Force Quit the client.
I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.8 on an iMac. |

I actually got that issue on Windows 7 at some point before 1.1 came out, restarting the client however fixed it for me |

Can someone at ccp please give us an idea wtf is wrong?, I know my laptop is **** but I don't remember seeing any big banners lately on login telling us that we'd have to buy new hardware to run even the most basic settings of the client.
I do remember seeing something about being able to buy shoes now, 'cept of course I'd have to be able to login to the bloody game first.
Will I be entitled to a refund for plex that I've added to the account if I can no longer access the game??? |

After downloading client update #2, mouse actions are still very wonky in station. Can't really select much of anything with left mouse. Ship spinning is very erratic--ship seems to randomly spin around and around very quickly when moused on. Not possible to rotate vertically. Right mouse displays the ship menu no matter where the mouse is, even if its over another window or items in the Neocom. Items in the Neocom don't open when I click on them. Window controls--pin, close, menus--don't respond when I click on them. I haven't tried to enter space because I have no confidence of being able to control anything. Keyboard controls do seem to work, so I was able to exit the program by hitting ESC and then tabbing a lot until the Quit button was highlighted. |

Major issue:
- The problems caused by drifting client clock (https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=49326) were not fully resolved with the Jan 24th patch. While the problem was alleviated by a great deal it does still remain.
For two days it looked really good for me but tonight, when I was flying back home after approx. 3 hours of incursion running, loading a new system after gatejump halted at least 4 times (over a 13 jump flight).
Good news is, it only took about 20-30 seconds of waiting (instead of 4-8 minutes like before the patch) but that could still mean the difference between life and death when jumping into hostile systems. Either you lose half of your gatecloak time, or you get left behind while flying in a fleet.

I got the same and I'm only using one monitor. I was playing mp3s via VLC while playing Eve and the mp3 playback was stuttering and crackling, kinda like if the comp ran out of resources (which it did not). At first I thought there's something wrong with VLC mp3 support but since this only happened while Eve was on, I doubt it. Not a very big issue but I did wonder.
- Like some people already mentioned, the module activation *click* seems to be gone - you only get it when you shift-click a module to overheat it.

2. SInce 1.1 the servers seem to have implemented an activity timer on clients and many more disconnects are occurring. I normally have 4 clients open on a 12 GB Win7 i7-960 PC, I monitor the connections with ping plotter and do not see any relation between the network connectivity and the disconnections. Often all four will die, I will log them all back on and they will die again almost immediately. I log them on again and they stay up for a while.
3. The recovery sequence from Disconnecting has changed. Previously, if I logged a client back in within about 15 minutes of disconnection, the socket would still be alive. Now the socket drops immediately. Yes, client crashes, and when immediately log back in I get the "The connection to the server was closed" message .... and the voice saying 'Connecting' . Clearing the Alert box reveals the animated 'Authenticating' bar that goes with the voice. I now need to hit Esc to clear that before clicking again on the Connect button and logging in with a new session. -- what has really changed is the addition of the authentication/voice sequence. If I have no socket/connection, how can it be 'Connecting'. Please remove the voice/banner routine from the sequence if the closed connection error occurs.
4. Fuel block colors, delayed in Nov, have still not been added (as promised)
5. All PI stacks still have leading zeros if the quantity exceeds 100,000 (110000 displays as 011)
6. Yes the blue 'I' is annoying in the Neocom. Please add Contracts to the static set of icons. Please allow us to determine which icons are displayed on the Neocom bar.
7. I'd have been happier if you had added horizontal scroll bars ....

for all of those having problems runing their clients, windows vista is the problem. Possibly windows vista and under 4 gigs of ram cause that what i had. i upgraded my laptop to windows 7 and now eve runs just fine with three gigs of ram.
thanks microsoft for selling me a defective product (windows vista) than charging me to up grade to a os that works. nice scam bill gates has going there. |

1) I'm unable to disable the chat neocom icon's blinking. it's just irritating.
2) The date display got removed from the lower-left corner. I was using that often, now i have to alt-tab to the OS every time i need to check what date it is.

Crucible 1.1 and now 1.1.1 both have caused the autopatcher to hang. The temp files (downloader.exe, ect) all appear in the appdata/temp folder, but it just sit's there totally unresponsive. Both times had to run the repair tool and patch it via that utility.
Lame and annoying, however I faired a bit better that some here, as I got it to work without redownloading the whole application again.

I am having a similar problem as some of the previous posters. When launching the new Eve I get the old Quantum Rise splash, then a similar error message as has been posted before in this thread. I've managed to run the Eve repair tool by following advice given earlier in this thread and running it as administrator. Unfortunately that does not seem to fix the problem at all. Any advice here would be very much appreciated |

I've managed to run the Eve repair tool by following advice given earlier in this thread and running it as administrator. Unfortunately that does not seem to fix the problem at all. Any advice here would be very much appreciated Try renaming your EVE folder to EVE2 or something. Solved that problem for me. |

There are players out there with 3-4 GB of system memory that should have been fine, but now can't play EVE. And to make things worse, if they have a DDR2 based system it's gonna be pretty damn expensive for them to upgrade their memory. |

I think they were bored....like me at having downloaded a full build for the 3rd time and still not able to use my Vista running laptop. Managed to get on on a m8s pc to switch skills but this seems like the end for my laptop.

Keyboard controls do seem to work, so I was able to exit the program by hitting ESC and then tabbing a lot until the Quit button was highlighted.
Downloaded and installed Crucible v1.1.1. Same problem. Not getting any love from CCP. Every time I try to file a petition on this issue, the server replies:

In terms of the R3064 error thing:
When I open up EVE through a shortcut, it pops up the error, but loads the client. If i hit Okay or X-out of the error message, I can log into EVE just fine, but I always get a message from the client about the socket being closed. If I hit enter and log in again, I can play EVE just fine.
The error message also pops up when I log off EVE, without hitting Quit Game, but I suppose this is because that sequence just causes the program to restart itself, which calls some sort of call that activates the error message. |

For me, system crash is tied to particular system or gate. I mean, if I fly one window and it crashes, same fate is almost inevitable for another window, getting there through same gate couple of seconds (or dozen of minutes) after. And fleet members' reports giving me same thought: if someone crash on specific gate, then 20%-50% of fleet will crash there, regardless of time passed. |

I confirm situation with client crashing on gate jump. We had a 30+ ppl roaming yesterday and on some gates ppl had clients crashing on jump in. Not every gate and ppl were crashiing randomly, but always on the same gates. Of the 3 times i had this problem twice both windows crashed and once only one of the two. On the about 80 jumps roam i think we found 5 or 6 problematic gates. So far it seems that only some gates are affected and that the bug is striking randomy.
also, traffic control seems to be getting back, haven't seen it for some time. almost lost fleet bonus ship to it yesterday |

b) Warp to zero fails commonly... 3% or 5% of the time, I'd estimate.
c) Docking fails from time to time, probably because of warp to zero failing.
d) 'Jump' fails from time to time, probably because warp to zero is failing... I'm left sitting 2200 from a gate.
e) My Tengu both flies and warps backwards.

Petition it as it was ninjaedit in patch what caused your loss. It wasn't due to normal game behaviour. Ask for escalation right away.
I've been having issues writing sell orders all the time now because my separator button has changed place also. If I didn't have my speakers on when I made the 1st one, I've prolly would have gone with 2 extra digits also. Thankfully that would have not been as bad as in buy order, but would had still paid plenty of extra taxes from that mistake.

Tried clearing the cache from the ESC menu on the login screen. This worked for a time. I was able to run and salvage a lvl2 mission. Then the UI stopped responding to the mouse after about an hour, leaving me stranded in space. Killed the client, reset the cache, and relaunched a couple times before regaining enough control to redock. Mouse controls were still wonky, so clearing the cache does not seem to be a fix.

The decimal problem just got worse. As of today's patch, when I try to paste an ammount with a decimal separator into the order modifying textbox, it fails.
If I try to paste "1000,01", I just get empty space. Have to set my Dutch Windows 7 "notation settings" to English (US) as a workaround.
Just give it up and change it back to the way it was CCP. Or stop failing  |

Since the patch, my Mac client has been dying of lag regularly. I am in space as normal but the whole interface becomes unresponsive and I need to force-quit to resume playing.
The problem would be frustrating enough in normal play, but when trying to remain cloaked in a site or outside a tower of some potential targets it becomes infuriating, sabotaging my opportunity and ruining a careful evening in studied stalking, as my ship immediately becomes visible when force-quitting making me blindingly obvious to everyone on-grid. I have already lost one valuable target because of the client dying, and potentially another right now. The regularity of the deaths is making me not want to waste my time and do something outside of EVE instead.
My net connection has not changed. Nothing has been added to it. I am maintaining a solid connection during play. Is there some problem with client-server connections? |

1.1.1 update issue
In a pod (not in a ship). right click, jump on a stargate when at 2560M fails to move the pod into jump range. This works ok in a ship - it approaches a gate and jumps, but NOT in a pod. Same issue at stations - pod-travel to the station, but came out of warp just before the docking area. Tested in a ship rather than a pod and I was able to approach and dock via "dock", where as 2 seperate commands "approach" then "dock" in a pod.
When "set destination" via the science and industry screen, the auto-P only takes you to the system. |

I'm suprised nobody noticed this in 10 pages of feedback. If I open the skill queue using the new button on the neocom that is below the character portrait, and the first thing I try to do is expand the left-hand pane to the right (meaning I attempt to drag the slider to the right so I can see the full names of the skills on the left), the right-hand pane will instead double in size to the left and cover up the skills list entirely. This will redraw itself properly by just moving the window and then it will be fine until the next time the client is reloaded.
Two suggestions: 1. While you're in there, if the left-hand pane of the skill queue could have improved masking of the collision between the skill name and level and the skill points and the time remaining, that would be handy. If you move the slider back and forth, you will see how the skill name gets covered up awkwardly - particularly in cases of a long skill name with a long time to train. 2. I would like to be able to reorder in-game browser bookmarks by drag and drop, and also put individual web site bookmarks on my neocom main tab.
Nice work on this patch, honestly. I'm having a great time in Crucible. |

Keep getting very frequent client crashes when jumping through gates. Get the feeling it happens more often when jumping to new constellation, but it happens otherwise too. Have updated graphics drivers etc etc.
Tried running repair tool.
It starts by saying there is a new version available. Then "errors occur" and a logfile in a strange place on the hard drive sais:

I have the same problem, checked that admin priviligies are applied (yes they are) and that no other process from EVE is running (no it was not). I also get the "access is deined" but somewhere else in that python-junk of CCP ;-)
CCP, any help on this? Why can't i run repair.exe in the EVE directory using admin privs?!

Not only have I missed the chance of a high-profit ambush, but now I have lost a Legion because my client locked up during the fight. There was nothing I could do but force a restart, as the client was completely unresponsive. I have petitioned for reimbursement of the ship, but I don't see the point of logging in to play when I am going to get random interruptions several times a session.
Being interrupted scanning is frustrating. Being interrupted shooting Sleepers is frustrating. Not being able to hunt or fight is too much. If I can't play the game, I won't. Please get this fixed. |

A few odd observations:
1) I hear a brief sound of pulse lasers after the grid loads after a successful gate activation - even when nobody is around and surely nobody is firing any weapons
2) client doesn't seem to crash if you keep windowed client minimized during the actual gate activation (not extensive test yet, but it surely seems that way). The brief sound of pulse lasers is heard when you unminimize the client after successful gate activation. The weapon sound plays after unminimize even if you keep the client minimized for several minutes. |

1) I hear a brief sound of pulse lasers after the grid loads after a successful gate activation - even when nobody is around and surely nobody is firing any weapons
2) client doesn't seem to crash if you keep windowed client minimized during the actual gate activation (not extensive test yet, but it surely seems that way). The brief sound of pulse lasers is heard when you unminimize the client after successful gate activation. The weapon sound plays after unminimize even if you keep the client minimized for several minutes. Jump crash bug fix will be on sisi today and deployed tomorrow if stable.
Hope so, lost a ship and pod to this bug today on another char, so I'm a little po'ed at CCP

Yeah the jump crash bug has gotten a lot worse, I hope they do finally have it fixed on Sisi.
The other issue that is vexing me is the moment is:
1. Open up EVE client 2. Client starts up, checks # of players. 3. Go to login and get "Server Closed Connection" message 4. Client plays dumb and shows the "authenticating" waiting message - and does nothing, ever 5. Have to close the EVE window using Windows UI, then relaunch |

Can't seem to get EVE to start up ever since the latest patch.
Ever since the new patch I can't even get past the splash screen dropping (splash screen loads, then eventually disappearing leaving the rest of my computer stuck ) and I can't get windows task manager to end the process. I end up having to completely shutdown the computer (hold down the power button) every time I attempt to open EVE.
I tried reinstalling a few times now, especially after seeing the repair file didn't actually have a log file to report to. After deleting and reinstalling the new repair file it "works" but EVE still won't get past the splash screen dropping.
Hope this issue get fixed soon.

Corp mate got some help and problems were traced to graphics drivers. Suggest everyone at least try checking that they have the latest drivers. Worth a shot - faster than CCP will deliver a patch, which might not even be the fix you need.

Hit F12 and file a bug report stating the times and conditions of the crashes. The bug report tool will gather all system stats. A picture of your client in the configuration it was at crash is also a great help. Just hit the screen shot button on the bottom and save.
The exact actions you took right before the crash is also a great help. Manualy flying gate to gate using the jump gate button on the drop down menu is a good place to start if that is what happened. |

Sticky warps are a know issue but only grave to station and stuff. The more locations that can be identifed were this happens the faster the bug gets fixed.
Just hit the bug report feature right after it happens so the devs can check the event history.

Ok, this worked:
1) check task mgr and get rid of exefile and repair.exe
2) delete exefile (it's in the ccp/eve/bin folder - I just figured I'd add the path in for others)
3) run repair
4) blow up a tackle rifter, hopefully not yours.
edit: I'm also pretty sure profit is in there somewhere. |

That's an interesting and completely relevant use-case scenario where the intended effect is completely counter to what CCP intended.
It is not uncommon for the explorer with his wits about him to cloak up upon seeing combat probes on d-scan or a non-blue in-system.
Can CCP guarantee that sites will re-spawn within a reasonable time-frame (*) after a site de-spawns?
(*) - where "reasonable" is w/in an hour or two so that the same pilot can continue exploration during that play-session?

Reinforcing sov structures, like IHUBs and stations, appears to force a session change of some sort ("Entering Space" message shows up and your ship stats reset w/ skills/bonuses) with hilarious bugs as a result including, but not limited to, not loading grid and objects arbitrarily disappearing from space and not being interact-able through the celestial list under the right-click-in-space menu. These bugs are impossible to reproduce, nor should anyone in their right mind want to try, since they affect people at random like a true EVE-feature should. I have both seen the event myself and laughed merrily at others suffering the experience, but would rather see it not happen at all. |

What's even worse than not being able to use the "." numpad as a decimal separator is the fact that you can't even paste ammounts with a comma in them into the market order textboxes anymore.... That makes working with a great ammount of market orders almost impossible.
This really needs to be fixed ASAP. |

there is an issue when when u play in window's mode, the game continues 2 play but the screen doesn't refresh, this happens when u have multiple clients running 1 in full screen 1 not also happens when playing eve in window mode and playing another game in full screen. eg like LOL or WOT

We have just confirmed that there was an unannounced change in Crucible to the mechanism for receiving security status increases when killing rats. Previously, all those who damaged the rat received the full secuirty status increase, whereas now only the player who "laid the final blow" receives the security status increase.
While this may seem like a small change to many it is a concern as:
a) this change was not announced (CCP - we thought you had stopped doing that) b) grinding security status is slow and painful at the best of times; this change makes corporate roams through 0.0 to grind security status and kill the unwary much less fruitful
This is not an issue for those who want to go full pirate (-5.0 and beyond), but for those of us who are trying to keep our security status up it is a problem.

POS Fuel notifications do not work properly:
1. I offlined a POS and removed most of the fuel but the calendar event still says it will run out at same day as before. Instaed the notification should be gone. Minor issue, I deleted it manually.
2. More importantly, I anchored and onlined another POS in a different system the same day and there is no fuel notification at all. |

I downloaded the automatic update and then restarted client........nothing, the banner fires up then the client stops responding. Can't get it to work at all, tried copy pasting an old copy of the client and same thing happened, i saw the login screen but after updating it didn't reappear and the program went unresponsive.

i am unsure what to do at this time
i had EVE online run fine on the computer at the time i reloaded windows 7 64bit ultmate and now it just dose not want to do ANYTHING
i run luncher hit the BIG play butten and the anner comes up and then another eve online shows up on the task bar but when i click it theres NO window and i run task manger and its NOT RESPONDING i have gone and try to bypass the Luncher same thing happens still not working
i have ran the repair tool over 20 times
and i have also REDOWNLOAD whole game 4 times i have KILLED out everything that i can do and its NOT running i am not sure what to do at this time PLZ give me some help |
