IF you make an announcement stating that theres gunna be a day like this on SiSi, make sure u increase the server capabilities to handle this....either that, or make it a day long or week long deal...problem solved.
They DID say that they'd probably have to restart the server a lot for this ... it's around page 20 somewhere (i think).
Singularity is the test server after all, it's rarely ever had to see more than 100 people on at a time. Basically ... consider TQ to be a network of several hundred machines ... in this example SiSi would be just 1 machine. You reckon your 1 computer you're sitting in front of could run this thing better?

Bit disappointing that I couldn't get on to play as I had hopes to take a look at the various T2 ships and see where I could take my TQ character but never mind.
Not the end of the world is it?

Ok,started 150th in line, so i got on right,,spent an hour building the baddest nighthawk,(a capital was useless,not enough ppl)-So then i travel around 30 systems,,found someone,then cluster shutdown:(arggggg, but i spent 1 million isk , and had 2 killer ships:)never fired a shot, wtf tho,didnt say nothin bout no regular DT2 hours in,,they need to redo this,,was a killer idea,,thanks for trying CCP.

Armageddon Day will continue after the regular Sisi downtime, which has been used to tweak the servers a little and allow for better performance.
Remember that singularity is just a test server, and has nowhere near the same power behind it as the main server, Tranquility.

Y'know what is so funny about this... I bet CCP is rofling right now at this thread on the forums.
It went from w00t uberpwnzorz day to OMGWTFCCP day because no one could log in.
