True but dude in this thread said he was in a SCORP which doesnt get the megathron's built in bonuses to damage and tracking speed. With minimal mods on a megathron I average 350 or 400 damage on 425's and wreck for 500 or so. I could probably believe the damages that are posted in his "logs" if they came from a megathron really set up with lots of damage mods, but from a scorp ? HIGHLY unlikely.

1. The poster had exellent hits, not wrecking hits. A wrecking is 2x as much as an excellent.
2. The poster is in a scorp, you're in a mega. That gives you a 1.2x multiplier.
Converting your 714.2 wrecking with a mega to a excellent hit with a scorp, gives only 298 damage.
The poster claims to do 660.
That also means that the poster "claims" to be able to score wrecking shots for 1500 damage with standard 425mm rails if he had a megathron.

Hmmm strange log.. I don`t have ubber skills in gunnerys (4 mainly, except gunnery at 5 that is required for large) and with tempest (RIP ) (1400mm projectiles) 2 counterbalanced and 2 optical i wasn`t able to do that excellent hits...
I`m really interested how he could accomplish this if this isn`t fake?
Oh btw there are more strange bugs in eve, the strangest is to lose twice same ship, and get twice 40% inurance...  so this instant kill isn`t very unlikely to happened... only this log is strange

I had a similar bug... my Omen warped into an asteroid field and started getting hit and spinning round and round. The closest NPCs were about 60k away and were SENTINELS/GUARDS. I warped out ASAP after getting half shield damage... there was NO ONE who had even locked me.

His logs is bull****, I went on chaos, fitted on 7 Optical Tracking CPU's, 4 Magnetic rare vortexes and 4 425mm Prototypes and hits where 200-350, mostly 250-300.

The best hit, I have ever done on my Raven with a 425mm Railgun I, is 565.6 damage, and my gunnery skills are well, pretty damn good.
Your log is obviously fake, especially if you were using a Scorpion. Even a Megathron kitted with every DMG Mod he could possibly fit + every 425mm he could possibly fit, would never hit that hard using a 425mm.
Not even a 1400mm Scout Artillery could match those shots, the only shot you obvioulsy didnt alter was the 76dmg scratch, which I get often on my railguns. Obviously fake because if your average damage truly was 500-600 damage, your barely scratches would easily exceed 150dmg.

:P i barly do 100damage with my best shots using iridum ammo in my Thorax :D but i avg around 55points. With gunnery 5, Sugical Strike 5 and M Hybrid 4. Have to Tracerkers one low slot and one Medium slot.
If i remeber correct and i think i tried it when u fit 2 meduim tracker or low slot trackers you dont get any better values.

Damn, it was really late, posted wrong half of the the combat log. That was when I was in my megathron earlier that day in the same system.
Tell me you can't get that kinda damage with T2 Magnetic Field Stabs, and tech 2 tracking mods with a megathron. With %95 skills in combat related areas.
Yes I had my scorp setup for damage, all tech 2 weapon mods, cept the 425mm Rails. Normally get shots for 250-375. Crits - 550-600 with Scorp.

I¦ve done 746 dmg with my mega and 425¦s. That was with large hybrid lvl4, gallente bs lvl3, 3 dmg mods, am ammo and me hitting a station.
