Be is very good. It's an uncontended service so speed doesn't vary even at peak times. I get 10Mb first thing in the morning and mid-evening. It also offers one of the few truly unlimited services in the UK.

Sky internet is also fine but then I think its more or less BT.
If your having trouble with internet connections on sky its because of the naff router they give you.

Fast.co.uk - safe.
Also the best customer service I've ever experienced, they phone me when there's a problem! Seriously. I've just had one of their CS guys arguing with BT for 3 days on my behalf, and he was successful too! Awesome.

Freedom 2 Surf (f2s) here - now owned by Pipex and hence Tiscali like so many others - and no problems whatsoever running 2 machines with different clients and other stuff going on in the background, at any time of day. I'm on an unmetered (theoretical 50GB but they removed the cap without me asking!) 2 meg connection.

Any Entanet connection will be fine. (UKFSN, ADSL24, vivaciti etc etc) No port blocking at certain times of the day

In Greece i know for sure OTENET is fine all times of the day. No blocking ports at any part of the day, and maybe some throttling for p2p programs during high congestion hours. But EVE is unaffected.
I think that also TELLAS, FORTHNET, Hellas On Line have the same policy.

BT Business Broadband - Safe and perfect service for 4 years.
A little more expensive than the consumer package but no d/l limits (even when I hit 200gb in a month!) and better contention ratio, and when I'm online in the evening and night most of the business users have gone home for the day so it's great :-)

Originally by: Neon Genesis Be internet - fine.
I'm not sure how long this is going to last, as they're now undercutting Tiscali on at least one of their deals (up to 8mb, no caps on downloads), but EVE is working fine for the time being. My research services Spreadsheets: Top speed calculation - Halo Implant stats |

Entanet - Very safe. Tends to get more business customers but are starting to push into home market as well. No drops in download/upload speed despite time of day.
