Imo it should be the end game ship for all traders. You should try trading too (not station trading, try region stuff). Nice profit in there if you trade in exotic dancers. Tried it, no fleets want a tengu..they say they would rather recruit a dramiel than tengu...something about DPS being too small. Tried it already...I figured I'll make some money first and then i'll buy a mach and get bussy. So anomalies it is !! :)) YEAH !! I knew training for a Harpy will one day pay off :))

It's hit-and-miss, but I do quite well even when I'm not daytripping empty wormholes. edit: though from what I've seen, a Drake is just as good as a Tengu for highsec exploration, except you won't get a scanner bonus.

Awright, so no free tengu for subs As already noted tengu are not highly desirable for incursions. Having said that there are always tengu out there in incursion fleets so that's not a complete write-off ... and incursions are a fairly good avenue to not-too-bad hisec income, even tho they get very boring very quickly. Missions? Decent tengu can cope with most everything. Not very quick but a fairly solid mission-running platform. Exploration? Hisec exploration doesn't usually pay super-well, and random is random, but it is an income source. Move out of hisec? Missions, incursions, and exploration sites all improve once you start moving away from hisec ... but you already know this. A non-hisec possibility that might fit with your game plan (sporadic availability) might be to head out to NPC nullsec and play explorer out there. You can 'taxi' fit (nullifier, covops, and stabs) to get out there and then refit as exploration ship once you in area. Potter round gathering stuff for a few weeks and then refit in taxi / hauler config and get your stuff out to hisec. In between sessions you can simply logoff in space (avoiding being station camped) and resume later where you left off. We can build and sell pretty much every ship. Check my bio for details. OH Flopie... .you make me laugh.. tengu is way better. Also some HS sites will not let a BC in.
