I just cut in 3/4 through a program on Discovery chan about some damn in iceland where they are digging a MASSIVE long tunnel from the damn too.. somewhere im not sure. like i say i came in 3/4 of the way into the program. It is showing all the things that went wrong, the things they have to over come. etc etc, looks interesting, i love programs like this. Anyone know anything more about it or what the hell im talking about ?

BTW its on their "mega structures" program i think. I live in turkey and get turkish tv though i do have about 20 programs in english ( yes im english)

i think its basicly a hydro electric program. and it will give iceland about 40-50% increase in their electric... if everything goes right... Im just listening to the man with the deep voice with statments like.. "their equipment is failing... will their 3 tunnels line up!!! whos knows, if it doesn't everyone in east coast france will DIE!!!!"

Happy ending, man wins. The Tunnels meet up with a few MM difference, well within the 29 Feet tollerence level....
