on a similar note?
Where is OSS? I seen one of their bigger corps joined Goonswarm and another of their pvp corps made a new alliance, has BRUCE won this war with OSS yet and are living in S-U?

Yep, they live in SU now.
During OSS/BRUCE's time of peace, OSS got smaller as its major PVP corps went to other pastures, and BRUCE consistently gained more and more members. Certain parts of OSS were infighting frequently, and Groon got tired of being the scapegoat for OSS's problems. I can't even count the number of times that some OSS guy would taunt us asking why we don't have more participation with 350 members. Yeah, we had TONS of inactives that never logged on, and many members would head off to Goonfleet when they wanted to try out their new carriers or just plain got sick of OSS. Hell, OSS voted 8-1 to boot us because VLINC wanted it (and more importantly, the complex that was in UTKS). Yeah, as if booting Groon woulda solved all of the OSS's problems.
As much as it looks like the timing for Groon leaving coincided with BRUCE attacking, the plans to move were forming beforehand. This did solidify it though, I think the common theme for Groons was "fuggit, we're hanging around an alliance where many hate us, meh whatever, the space is alright, this is the Goon mecca, so we'll stick around." So, it was a long time in the making, but BRUCE coming in took away one of the few reasons we had left to stay.
That said, not all of OSS were like that, there were many members of OSS who were just fine, but it was plenty. I'm sure most of the members of the corps that wanted to boot us didn't even know what was going on at the time.
By the time the fighting re-started there wasn't much of a fight. We had a few skirmishes and it didn't take too long before BRUCE mobilized its big guns. It seemed like it could regularly field more than a dozen capital ships, plus have 3x the members. BRUCE doesn't hold back numbers in fights, and OSS would pester its members to join gangs which were just about inevitable to lose.
Anyways, my thoughts on it.

See! I told you there were some good guys in BRUCE. Amen to that mate - irrespective of what happened to start this, we look forward to meeting you guys and having non-smack fun.
Given our comparative size our aims from this are by necessity, modest at best.
As to these more recent posts - to be honest I have no idea about the history, and we are not members of The OSS. Wes, I hear you mate - and like anything judgements are usually formed by contact with specific individuals. We don't really have a thing against the entire alliance - we don't know you guys well enough to make that sort of call.
Bottom line - they got first blood, just because we are small doesn't mean we have to cop it unanswered. Simple really.

Ummm... exactly how do you do that? NRDS means if they are not RED don't shoot doesn't it? Please correct me if I am wrong, but at the time you guys shot our carrier down, we weren'r RED. But WE abused YOUR policy?
Now this is what I'm talking about - if guys have a policy - you have it. No one made you declare that you have an NRDS policy. Yes - we tried to use that policy, but I think it was actually your guys that AB-used the policy.
I presume we can take that as an admission of guilt? If so, nice to see some honesty finally.
You guys gonna surrender now?

Classic Yes Minister! We have a policy of "Not Red Don't Shoot" However in the fine print you might notice that your use of the said policy voids the policy. Should the policy be void by your use then another policy is implimented "Local, Or Orange, Shoot EveRyone"
Don't talk to me about losing ships! When you have lost as many Domi's as I have you will understand why I don't mention the "WAR" |

Vaustrien pretty much summed it up. (cept, in my personal opinion i've noticed no diffrence at all since groon left) - when oss napped bruce alot of the oss pvp members left to go find someone to fight. when bruce decided to "claim" an oss system and then break the nap when oss didnt leave (i **** you not) it was a snowball waiting to happen.
@ talk of the killboards. i dunno, the few bruce guys ive spoken to have claimed some really wild BS, like one guy saying they kill 60-70 oss members a day... Which is about 4 times the number we have active. Just how it goes, bruce scream blue murder that their killboard is right and were not posting losses, but i dont see any wreaks around or people talking bout a fight, maybe their posting kills or other people and assuming their oss kills or something, prolly just an mistake. In all honesty i think its more a case of a no contest win but some people are trying to drum it up as a military victory. Which i hope isnt true, because false consfidence will get you creamed in eve.

You are right, we certainly don't kill 60-70 OSS a day, nor was there ever a day like that. (OSS v BRUCE activity has currently dropped to a trickle..) Also I agree most BRUCE realize it was a lopsided numbers mismatch (especially after most of larger OSS corps left the alliance). We don't fool ourselves that it was elite PvPing, but a general smothering. Such is Eve.
Some of the ex- and current corps in OSS I respect alot. Too bad they were OSS instead of BRUCE.

I noticed that most threads that have BRUCE in em, end up in OSS vs BRUCE discussions.
Anyway Wusti, if you gonna fight them bring lots off ships. Our skirmish gangs always end up being hunted by a 25+ man BRUCE fleet. Good thing is they often fly nice ships that look good on the KB.

Even though BRUCE are not the best PVPers I fought they definitely know how to play this game... unlike OSS. OSS keeps loosing good pvp member corps for the past 8 months :( I believe the reason is that the alliance is simply vegetating in JQV without any clue on how its future will look like. OSS directors keep claiming that the "big daddies" will come up and help if things get nasty and that never happens!
BOS left the OSS, then there were a few smaller corps with decent number of kills, then there was the big blow up with BULG and KMV leaving, then it was the Groon and NOTR.
BECKS was the ****tiest pvp corp when we joined OSS and atm is the in top 3 killers for a few months now - for me that means one thing - OSS is doomed if ppl don't start playing the game as it should be played instead of kicking each others balls internally!
Respect to BRUCE. See you soon in lower Synd :)
PS: guys pls try to engage us with less then 3:1 ships at least once - will be a lot more fun :)

Sounds like TNERA's timing in attempting to join The OSS was a bit unfortunate given what I've heard about the current state of play down there in their space.
Another group flying around in Syndicate has go to be good for keeping the region a fun and interesting place to live.
GL with your fight against BRUCE.

So what you're trying to say is that they're exactly like Goonswarm.
Can't be true, unless Goons are teethless.
1) bite_bruce = bite_goons '...exactly like Goonswarm' 2) bite_bruce = 0.5*bite_goons '... and half the bite' 1+2) => bite_goons=0.5*bite_goons => bite_goons=0, bite_bruce=0 => Goons teethless. q.e.d.
Ok, I admit I am bored.

When we napped BRUCE we backstabbed HUZAH. Many of us were against that, but were not heard. HUZZAH were left alone against BRUCE and will never forgive us that :( I fought with them many times and have a deep respect to the HUZAH pilots I know... hope they are still good and kicking BRUCE ass :)

And BTW Aran Makor hard to find "MDK who actually wants to fight" when you log off...next time I will let you blow me up...promise as thats the best way to PVP
