Edited by: pooti on 24/02/2004 07:03:48 Spotted tonight in the recruitment channel: MASS newcomer Miz Cenuij using one of his two known scamming alts (Priest Vallon in this case; the second being the late Rent Girl, who after being discovered by FA has apparently been deleted for new scamming exploits) to try to join a "big corp" in the recruitment channel.
Witness:
[ 2004.02.24 06:44:33 ] Priest Vallon > any big corp recruiting? [ 2004.02.24 06:44:45 ] Grampy Bone > YES JOIN ME [ 2004.02.24 06:44:50 ] ulala dancer > yes priest [ 2004.02.24 06:44:55 ] Grampy Bone > YOU SCAMMER [ 2004.02.24 06:45:13 ] ulala dancer > you can apply in rancer [ 2004.02.24 06:45:14 ] n1k0n > this chan has really gone downhill [ 2004.02.24 06:45:16 ] Ziek > ulala your not a big corp [ 2004.02.24 06:45:16 ] Priest Vallon > sexy scammer ***** with original typhoon bpo [ 2004.02.24 06:45:16 ] Constantina > priest what r u looking for in a corp? [ 2004.02.24 06:45:19 ] Ziek > your a noob corp [ 2004.02.24 06:45:25 ] Grampy Bone > WOW COOL [ 2004.02.24 06:45:28 ] Ziek > a noob corp with 4 members [ 2004.02.24 06:45:28 ] Grampy Bone > WANNA JOINS?! [ 2004.02.24 06:45:29 ] ulala dancer > no we arent [ 2004.02.24 06:45:38 ] Ziek > yes. yes you are. [ 2004.02.24 06:45:45 ] Priest Vallon > im lokin for a corp that dont demand much [ 2004.02.24 06:45:50 ] ulala dancer > well [ 2004.02.24 06:45:52 ] Priest Vallon > i play few hours now
He then left the channel, presumably to continue his newfounded life of goodness.
Does MASS condone this type of behavior? How does the SA feel about the new MASS fundraising technique? Will the lonely Priest be offered a stay in one of Eve's megacorps? Or will he be left out in the cold? Stay tuned to find out!

I applaud your goals in this (or at least one of them)...
Because of the volatile nature of the subject matter, I felt putting an early request for civility might be prudent.
Let's not take this one down in flames folks... --------------------------------------------------

It'll stop, he just needs 500mil to buy that new ship first. He can stop right now if you loan it to him.

If you want proof that Priest Valon is Miz Cenuiz's alt, just check employment history...
Nice choice of member for a legitamate corp though honestly, I can really see MASS is upholding its nice LEGITAMATE image with their recruitment policies...

I want the Minmatar Republic to name a planet after the heroic freedom fighter Vegeta that was one of those who killed Grikl and his fancy boat.

Yes, but the thing is that Miz might try and sell those Apocalypses and it's in fact an Omen. I've done it and it was fun.

Miz Cenuji simply put stole off ppl (not corp) who he had fought alongside for a very long time. Say whatever you want about m0o but we dont steal from our friends. As for his motivation it is real life greed. He has been getting board of EvE for some time now and has decided to quit. But before doing so he plans to rip off as many ppl as he can so he can Ebay all his stuff. So be warned MASS watch him like a hawk.
BTW GFLTorque its safe to assume that Stav is "133t enough to earn an imperial apoc" and Grikls Imperial Apoc was just 1 of many Stain ships to go pop that day.

Edited by: pooti on 24/02/2004 23:00:53 I don't really know what you could want in the way of proof, and honestly, I don't care enough to go out of my way to give it to you. But, for what it's worth, the last two weeks Miz spent with us were spent almost solely scamming. He was asking about buying a second account one night and a few of us started talking about ebay. He seemed intrigued by the amount of money goods/accounts could go for and made a goal to get a BPO. This led to the selling off of most of his assets and the eventual joint BP with Omni. One night in particular he seemed keen on the idea of selling everything he had on ebay and starting over with a new character.
In one of our discussions on placing spys he had also mentioned that he had an old offer from a SA corp - which I believe was MASS, but I may be mistaken - and that was also discussed briefly. He seemed rather excited when we told him you can attack corpmates in empire space.
So.
When Miz convo'd me asking to borrow ISK I figured something was up - asking privately instead of in corpchat or on ts and all - but I've always liked him & 20m isn't really a big deal so I gave it anyway. I must have been the last one, as almost immediately he dropped from corp chat and the farewell evemail popped up. I assumed that he had accepted the forgotten offer from you guys or whoever it was for a final laugh before dumping his account. Surprise, surprise.
Now. Is Miz still scamming? Who knows, but I think the above log is pretty obvious another attempt at corp theft...Unless he has some vested interest in placing a spy in a random "big corp". There's no doubt as to Priest being his alt - we all know it from talking to him and the "scammer with a typhoon bpo" doesn't really leave much to figure out. A quick check on trade will confirm Priest's reputation - he had a helluva run over the last few weeks. 'Course, won't be surprised if Priest is deleted soon, as he's already far too well known. Maybe he's already been replaced with a new character in the deleted RentGirls slot (note to traders - if your seller calls someone a donkey your probably about to be scammed)? If you think you can keep tabs by a screenshotted login screen, don't be so sure - he faked one to get RentGirl into HHI and if it's something you require you can be certain you received the same.
And yes. He had the rotating 3d background lined up and everything. It was very well done.
Anyway.
Miz is a very talanted scammer. His complete lack of conscience is a formidable foe (and will be missed! I doubt I'll ever find another corpmate as willing to attack people that shouldn't be attacked :[) - you'll find few players willing to carry on a long trust-building coversation prior to ripping someone off. If you think he's going to stop because he told you he's going to stop, well, heh. Good luck with that. If you know what he's up to and are just trying to keep up your good name, fine with me, probably the last I'll speak on the subject.
Now, you know what I know, and Miz knows you know it. Will be interesting to see who ends up getting screwed over. Be sure to let us know.
See ya in Thelan
