I'm unable to log in the game, my char is in Jita. I have another alt on the same account that can enter the game with no problem (because he is not in Jita, that is).
I thought that maybe you guys at CCP don't know about the problem... Or maybe you do, but you don't really care? Some players left out now and then, big deal.
After four hours of trying,

I have the same situation right now. I think Jita might have crashed, in fact, I'll put a million isk on it :P
And in all honesty, I didn't even mean to jump there (stupid autopilot).
Since I know right now this thread isn't going anyway near productive (trust me: CCP knows about this issue. Any knowing about an issue doesn't mean its automagically fixed), I'll suggest it now:
The autopilot (course planner) system should support a "Avoid System" flag so you can say "I want to got from point A to point B, but for God's sake, don't send me through Jita". granted there are soem systems, like Itamo that you HAVE to go through Jita so it will have to deal with that issue, like it does with the "Don't me through systems when pod killing has occured"

 me to, jumped to jita about an hour ago and locked up.
Been trying to login but just hangs on 'entering game...'

I was having a lovely day playing and jumped through jita. Day over . I have been lagged out for over 2 hours. My buddy was following and shows in local but is not logged into corp or alliance for last 2 hours. Saturday and Jita are mutually exclusive but this is crazy!! Please help a brother out !! Can we all get in a ship and leave asap please!!

A stuck petition filed on an alt on the same account had the situation resolved in under 20 minutes.

GM moved me to Perimeter and now i can login, but cant get my items from Jita ^^

stay out of jita maybe ? everyone knows its laggy, and yet ppl insist on going there...
support your local trade hub instead, just as easy to buy/sell things in other places
of course that dosnet help you guys atm, try waiting, or annoy the gm's with a petition :)

to everyone here DONT GO TO JITA BETTER YET DONT LOG OUT IN JITA you will never log back in. Best thing to do is petition it and hopefully a GM will move you guys out.
And whoever here says FIX Jita you cant its not fixable the more hardware you add the more people come. Then it lags again. And yes I win

If Jita can't be fixed, why send me on misions there? Being a newer caldari player its almost impossible to avoid jita. Its pretty easy for people to say "dont go to jita" after they have been playing for a while, but for newer players it's really annoying to get your toon stuck there for long periods of time.

My alt is stuck too (forgot that he needs to move elsewhere 2/7 days of the week b/c the game is unplayable there), and i'm actually afraid to petition, last time they moved 3 of my characters around, one of them 60+ jumps b/c they didn't READ the petitions i sent them. They resolved it in the end, but...
Anyway, i'm curious why 800+ people in a system like that completely destroys the server...i can think of many, many businesses and services which handle huge (many thousands) of users simultaneously and dish out massive amounts data and such w/o even blinking...and i guarantee you that it doesn't require a supercomputer or a 20-server cluster for each. 1000 people, their market transactions, conversations, and spatial / movement data can't be that much of an unsurmountable problem.
The kludge solution would be to link the four capital systems and come up with some bs about being able to teleport goods to and from each blah blah blah enough to keep the lore nuts / RPers happy and ease stress on the network at the same time.

Please Jita has its own server and YES it does take a supercomputer to get all the massive data that jita has
