If carriers at present were fulfilling their intended role, there would be no need for changes. So clearly you're wrong, and they are not fine.
Carriers are fine and there is no need to change them.
Carriers role where to bring ships to the front lines, replacements fully loaded with ammo, boosters, and other nice things that a ship might need.
To safely do this job the carrier needed teeth the ability to make 2 or 3 BSs think twice about attacking it. Now thats not to say they wont, but they will think about not attacking. with 5 fighters Ill get my BC and be effective, as anything less then 10 fighters is a joke. Granted 5 fighters is a bit of dps, but that wont even break a drakes sheild tank, lets not even get started on the myrmidons passive shield tank.

While the nerf I read about will happen that being the no cargo in ships placed in the SMB, while im not to happy about that, I just wanted to make sure everyone read this and what they think.
The ability of carriers to have ships in its SMB with ammo is needed, and hopefully they allow us to have that ability anyway with the introductions of this new system to fit out carriers.
