The proposed solution doesn't address the problem you're trying to fix. There. I've said it, i feel no better because i know that the ill considered nerf will happen anyway. Capital ships ganking in lowsec causing problems? Hey why not make lowsec less friendly for capital ships instead of changing the ship performance and role everywhere in the galaxy? How about changing sentry guns so that they fire on any criminally / agressor flagged capship near a station with an energy neutralizer that drains 10k cap per 10 seconds? That should reduce the problems of motherships smartbombing all the iskfarming automated characters in lowsec.

Used to use it for area defense, logistics, delegating fighters. Now i use it for moving things. Since it's so easy to annihiltae a carrier without support i've pretty much stopped using it for anything other than a jumpable freighter.

No, I feel that if i train a ship and all its supporting skills for months on end that i should be allowed the option to redistribute those skillpoints when ccp sodomises the ship, revises the role and generally changes it beyond all recognition. I guess i'm a hopeless optimist on that one.

Oh yes. The proposed change to make delegation of 1/2 to 2/3 of your fighters in order to even use them will improve this function a lot. Handing 400 mil worth of fighters over to the control of another player really works for losing isk.
