You want to (presumably roleplay) making/breaking laws regarding concord and the empires, or have a say in what ccp does regarding game content and mechanics? If its the latter, CCP have always considered the opinions of the playerbase with regards to what they do, and more than a few (good) player suggestions have been turned into features. Just because they don't bend to the whining of every loudmouth on the forums to nerf/not nerf something doesn't mean they ignore the playerbase. -

We know what we want and its our game! It sort of already is a democracy, albeit a very indirect/representative democracy. If CCP makes a **** game, nobody will pay for it, so obviously they have some monetary incentive to make EVE good. If they make changes to the game that lead many players to quit, they might think twice before making that change. Thats as democratic as you're going to get it. Anything else would probably be foolish from a business point of view.

They offer you complete features, almost ready to enter coding process, but nothing happens. As a community manager I would find that counter-productive.
