the ammar have the highest dps in the game.
it's true!
the problem is armor resistances, without trying you may be tanking for ammar.
but pure number wise, and with changeable tracking and optimal range, the ammar are sick dps monsters.
anyone that reads any ship profiles will see that the dps is always the highest.
and the cap can be hard to keep up. Basically sane ammar people feel that ammar ships need more
thermal damage.
cargo space.
something to make them feel like they have more cap and not less cap becuase the weapons fry it on some ships.
all said they still have the highest dps.

do you remember the devs saying they wanted the ammar to be the cap race?
you really can't denie that the ammar have the best dps at range can you???

I have no idea honestly of the actual facts/statistics.. But it took me only couple weeks to get as Caldari into Raven.. And it seemed to me like nothing could bleed that cap down. With relatively tiny skills learned I was passively tanking lvl3 missions and I had so much cap in my disposal that I did not really manage to put a dent into the reservoirs.. 
If your point was you have to train a lot to use ammar, then why didn't you say so?
and as far as that goes, try flying mimitar ships.

I had no point  , I have not been flying Amarr yet with good skills. I know they suck at the beginning, I am running constantly out of cap.
That won't change much with skills :P
which is why a large cargo bay would help for cap injectors.
but that's just me :/
my point was still the ammar are not the cap race :P
