Eternity INC. [ETNY] û 1st Birthday
One year ago today, the red-headed love child of Larsson7 and Selleeene was born.
Eternity was the first corporation specifically created to be MC, and to embody the ideals of professionalism, teamwork and excellence that have made the Mercenary Coalition what it is today. Naming Eternity INC. in honor of his favorite boy band, Larsson wanted Eternity to become the preeminent corporation within the MC and a PvP force in the Eve galaxy. Today, we are proud to say, that dream has been realized. Eternity consistently tops the MC killboards every month, leads in gang participations and boasts the third-gheyest corporation name in the alliance. We continue to set the bar high for achievement, and strive to be the most active, most efficient, and most deadly organization we can be.
Fun Facts and Meaningless Numbers
- ETNY has 13,000+ participations on killmails in the past year, totaling more than half a trillion isk in arbitrarily calculated damage.
- In that time our overall efficiency rating has been a meaningless 91.8% as of this writing.
- We have participated in 682 shuttle and 3866 podkills.
- Our corp ticker has been misspelled as ôENTYö more than 163 times, which has led to more than 85 Treebeard jokes.
- ETNY has lost 18 shuttles and 7 noobships, more than any other MC corporation.
- Eternity directors of Scottish descent sleep an average of 1.5 hours per night.
- ETNY members have participated in 53 dreadnought and 199 interdictor kills.
- We average a new CEO every 2.4 months, more than any other MC corporation.
- Eternity member(s) have caused the median market price of Taranii to increase by 8.5%.
- ETNY has the most carrier killmails in the MC, with 66.
I would personally like to thank each and every pilot who has flown under the ETNY flag for making this moment possible. I am proud to have taken the helm of this great corporation, and proud of each and every member for their hard work, dedication, and teamwork. Except for you, FeAr, you slacker.  Seriously though, you guys rock, and you all deserve a big frosty congratulatory beer for a wildly successful year. For those of you going to fanfest, Selynne said heÆd buy it for you, so be sure and ask him.

Sweet, that 2.4 month average means I more than doubled the curve, right?
The first time I heard the name Eternity, I was a grunt in FRICK. After hearing the plans to build a corp from the ground up that was MC through and through, I felt like it was simply where I needed to be. I have never regretted that decision. I spent about a month outside of Eternity this year, including a couple of weeks with the fine folks at 0utbreak. When pressed for why I left TOXIN, the only answer I could give was "It's not Eternity, and it's not the MC."
You guys are closer to family than I would have imagined possible while playing internet spaceships. I have met friends who I know I will keep long after they shut Tranquility down.
You guys are the bestest internet spaceship guild ever, and I am glad I served as your CEO.
