Hi here is my Scorpion fitting for solo pvp.
People usually thinking ECM ship should fit ECM. But they forgot Scorpion is nice not Bcuz it's ECM bonus but its nice 8 med slots. So I tried to try out my own way to fit a scorpion out for solo or small dog fight. And found it rocking pretty good. Yes even better than I ever expacted.
And here goes the fitting wish u could have some oppinion on this stuff.
[High Slots]
4 Arba Cruise Launchers
2 Heavy Neut 25km 500cap->600
[Medium Slots]
4 Phased Muon Sensor Disruptor
1 100MWD II
1 Warp Disruptor II (24km)
1 Heavy cap booster II (with 800cap cahrges)
1 Cap recharger II
[Low slots]
4 Cap Relay (24%)
[rig slots]
3 CCC
[Drone Bay]
T2 Medium Scouts
With this set up I went very well in solo or even 1V2 .till faced a crowd of ships and got ganked.

I I find it hard to resist the WTF factor of this setup.

that setup is up there with the worst, and unlike the usual trolls that inform you of a bad setup i'll tell you why.
4 damps, might as well go 3 and one multi spec (it does get the ECM bonus afterall).
4 cprs in the lows AND 3 cap rigs, you must hav oodles of cap to play wtih, prolly mwd (slowly) and use all your modules constantly, while being able to perma run is good you hav no defence so your out looking for 1v1s basicly - and thats easily achived with ECM and a tank. You will almost certinly die to a gang of two or more, and pretty fast to boot.
However if it works for you, all the best

what if I change the TII scout drones to ECM ones?

All that cap recharge, a cap booster and no tank or ecm... No doubt 4 damps can help you in many situations but I think you can do better. At least get rid of the cap recharger and fit a multispec...

Running 2Heavy neuts, burning the MWD full time, 4damp full time. that's where the cap used.

I've heard of scorpions that can PVP... they're dedicated PVP boats FFS. They just have trouble doing it solo.

I cant really see this working very well to be honest.
not trying to be mean, i just dont. its too much money to put down on a ship that honestly isint putting out that much dps, isint that quick, doesent take ANY damage, and just generally withers under anything you could throw at it.

The Scorpion can solo pvp, not that I think solo pvp is anything anyone should be setting up for - especially with the only dedicated gang support BB in the game.
1) Fit ECM instead of SDs fit one of each race and a multi, or a full rack of mulitis.
2) fit 3 sensor disruption amps in the lows
3) Use T2 wepons, best named mids - not T2 mids and best named wepons if you insist on best named.
4) why not just train for an arazu?
