I also used this template on my other thread, entitled 1bil bond, 12% interest over one month û Expansion) Offering 5,000,000,000 ISK Fixed Income Bond Bond Maturity and Repurchase Date of approx. 2007.02.01 (three-month bond) Total return of 130% (6,500,000,000 payback) 2,000,000,000 ISK Maximum investment by any single party (please, no alts) No shares I am creating a bond for five billion ISK in order to increase the amount of ISK that I have at my disposal for trading. This is an offshoot from an ongoing (almost completed) one-month bond of mine. Over the past few months I have made a large amount of money using Hanoi Hana in Jita, and a second trade alt operating in two other regions. Business Plan IÆm a reseller, and have always made my money buying low and selling high. I first began making money as a market-camping trader in Jita, but since creating an alt in another region, I have not been trading in Jita. My trading style consists of two strategies. The first strategy, which the original 1bil bond was created for, is to purchase directly off the Jita market and sell at a markup in another region. The second strategy, which I began in the last week or so, is to set up region-wide buy orders. I am currently in the exasperating process of picking up these items to put on sale again, but I have developed some basic techniques for minimizing jumps performed (ôoptimize routeö has a practical limit on the number of waypoints). Next time, I will also be experimenting with corporate orders and the ôdeliveriesö function in order to streamline the purchase/transport/sale process over multiple characters. The size of the bond was chosen according to my recent experience outside of Jita that has clearly shown I can adequately use such an amount of ISK to profit, while not requiring superhuman effort. I am not planning to release monthly dividends, but rather prefer to pay back a lump sum at the very end in order to fully utilize the funds available to me for the maximum time possible. Background My name is Hanoi Hana, and I will be using an alternate character whose name I will not release. My main character is ôElentariö, who is posting below. I have played EVE Online since 2003, and lately I have been playing for at least 12-20 hours per week. I check markets and update prices at three distinct times of the day, although I am typically online during the United StatesÆ EST evening. This is my second bond offering. I am a service-member of the United States Army with the rank of Sergeant. For the next three months I will have practically guaranteed free time every day. However, beginning in early February, I will be gone and attending Airborne School, and then follow-on training. This means that starting in February or March (exact date as yet uncertain) I will be away from EVE long enough that I may have to entrust another person to adjust my skills for me. I will be away from EVE for several months before I am able to log on for any playable length of time. I am often connected to MSN Messenger, even if I am not at my computer. I am at least familiar with the names of a number of people I would reasonably trust with my full API during the course of this bond. How to Buy Shares Send an EVE mail to the character ôHanoi Hanaö (note exact spelling) stating the amount of ISK to be provided for this bond, and send the money directly to the wallet of ôHanoi Hanaö. I will reply back to confirm your purchase. I would appreciate it if you would post your purchase in this thread, but to maintain investor privacy, it is not a requirement. If I receive more than 5bil ISK for the bond due to not updating this thread in time, I will decide based on the amount received whether to keep it and invest it or return it with an explanation. No physical in-game shares will be used for this bond.

Are you a scammer? No. I do not have many people to vouch for me, since I have been entirely absent from my PvP corporation due to my fixation on trading. Posting with my true main is the best I can do to assure you and belay fears or uncertainty. I understand this will likely make or break the deal for many potential investors. The only option I can offer is to have a nice in-game or out-of-game conversation with me. What if you get hit by a bus? Nobody has access to my account information, so your ISK will be lost under these circumstances. How secure is my money? What is your fallback plan? I do not hold enough raw ISK at this time to cover this bond should the money suddenly disappear, unlike my original 1bil bond offered earlier. However, my style of trading does not hold a high level of risk and the only reasonable point of vulnerability is the transport of items, which only go through safe-sec unless absolutely unavoidable. If I were to sit on the 5bil and not invest it, I currently hold enough capital to cover the interest. The ISK is secure. Do you keep many staplers and cats near your keyboard? No. I had only one memorable market mistake a couple months ago, when I forgot a decimal on a sell order and paid a 40mil broker fee. Since then, I have groomed good habits in these regards: before I click ôOKö to modify an order, I always 1) check the price I typed and make the commas appear, 2) check the % difference from market average, and 3) check total change in price. I really and truly always do these things for every single modify order. I have not had a single market mistake since months before my original bond was offered. Why are you only running this bond for three months? I am in the military, and I will be attending long-term training with only sporadic access to the internet for many months beginning February 1st, and then again beginning around March. Therefore, I am cutting this bond off in late January. Why are you offering a 30% total return over three months? There is no reason for choosing this number, other than for how it compares with other bonds. Beyond this level, I will be taking any other profits and using them to further grow my charactersÆ wallets after the bondÆs completion when I am able to return to EVE. You said you would be transporting the items region-wide under your own power. Can you guarantee the safety of my cargo? Yes. I am always mindful of the total value of the cargo I put in my shipÆs hold. Additionally, I have recently begun to use Transport Ships and have tossed my Impel to the wayside in favor of my fast-warping Prorator. YouÆre not going to give me any shares to physically look at and hold? No. I will be communicating with my ôimaginary shareöholders through EVE mails in-game when necessary, and I will be maintaining an in-game persistent ôEVE noteö in addition to an out-of-game list to keep track of my shareholders. I would like to try to avoid mucking up my alt corporationÆs shares for this bond. I see you in the Eve Online HoldÆEm channel betting ISK a lot. Will you be gambling with my ISK? Under NO circumstances will I gamble with shareholdersÆ ISK. It will only be used for profiting off of market trading. I made many changes at your and Dodiez' encouragement, I just didn't agree with every suggestion made. The reason I limited the maximum investment was in order to get maximum possible interaction with the public community. I don't quite understand why, but for myself it makes a venture like this much more fun and enjoyable when I involve other people from the public. If I wanted only the ISK to work with, you would have been the first person I'd have gone to for a private, one-man investment. Before you said anything, I got a very strong feeling that you wanted to purchase the entire bond, which defeats the whole purpose of going public with it. Thanks for posting here, Curzon... I'm glad we were able to talk about this. :)
