So a while back I was looking at the EVE Store for info on clothing patches because I wanted a Guristas logo for the back of my motorcycle jacket.
Sadly, there aren't any for sale. However, an individual who shall remain nameless contacted me in-game and explained that he'd be willing to do a one-off for me.
I'm not going to reveal the individual that did this or the company because they're not going to make more. This one was made at cost for me by one fan for another, not for profit. CCP will probably have no problem with a fan having a patch made by another fan but would start to get irate (and rightly so) if someone started making money selling patches with their IP.
So, with that stuff out of the way- on to the cool bits. It turned out AWESOME. I can't say enough for how cool I think it looks. I ran out after I got it and had it stitched on this evening. I got some pics which I hope you enjoy.
All the large pictures are 1-2 MB in size, the ones marked "Small" are about 97K to 250K.
I was especially pleased with the reflective quality of the embroidering. It must look kickass at night on the road when headlights hit it.
Back of jacket (large) Back of jacket (small)
Took a closeup of the jacket lying on a table. I had the seamstress place it just slightly off-center to the right to let it be balanced with the ears. It leaves some space on the left, maybe for another small patch or something someday.
Closeup of back, flat on table Closeup of back, flat on table (small)
My two children think it's pretty cool too. My daughter calls the logo a "bunny" and says "Daddy has a bunny on his jacket!"
Alex and Amanda Alex and Amanda(small)
I'm very pleased to have a totally unique back patch for my jacket that looks cool to those who aren't familiar with EVE and for those that are, even cooler.
Enjoy!

Are those launcher hardpoints on the back, or just a modified cargo bay?

Never thought of it that way. The zippers are vents, very nice when riding through places like the Mojave (did that this summer). There's matching ones on the front.

I hear you. I hope CCP realizes they've got a winner here. If they want a good vendor to make patches for sale in their store, I can hook them up (CCP, you listening?).
As far as riding goes- where do you live? I'm in Washington. VTX 1800 here. ;)

Kickass. Too bad most dumbasses that see the logo will just think "It's an evil playboy bunny" or just cut out the "evil" part alltogether.
But still, awesome.

Actually, I would say "evil playboy bunny" is a pretty cool thing to have on your jacket.
To the OP: You've inspired me, I am going to see about creating an air-brush stencil and do a black one on a grey shirt of some kind (possibly jacket) Your signature exceeds the byte me limit allowed on the forums-Darth Patches Oh Noes!

I gotta tell you- that movie offended me by existing. I haven't seen anything of it but the trailers.
I ride 75 miles one way to work, four days a week. I have a full body bright orange neoprene rainsuit. The one fall I've had was when I hit black ice (I don't ride in subzero weather any more). I've ridden through scorching desert heat (you've never lived until you've had to decide if you're going to drink the water or pour it in your helmet), seen lightning strike less than a hundred feet away while going 90 mph, and been unable to see the road through the rain on it.
Suffice to say... I'm no fair weather rider. ;)

Apologies, I was somewhat inebriated when I was posting late in the thread last night and wasn't paying the closest of attention, it's closer to 2 years (about 18 months so far, I think).
But yes, I do ride a lot. Love it.

Look ma, an idiot.
Do you really believe that CCP is going to take the time and energy to sue a person over having an evil bunny logo on the back of their jacket? Something so minor as that? Think of the backlash it would cause, "CCP sues man for having the logo of a fictional pirate organization on his motorcycle jacket." No one is making any money off of it, its just for personal enjoyment. It is no different from the Eve Online tattoos that are at times posted on this board, or the cardboard models of EVE ships. No one is gonna sue anyone over something so small as that.
And to the OP; very cool Jacket. I certainly hope CCP starts selling patches.
