I wasas fighting some scumbag farmers. Had a support fit, no tank at all dominix dead to rights. Blasters ripping thru armor into hull when they SHUT OFF with 18 rounds per hopper with "an attempt is being made to activate that module" message. My rocket launcher keeps firing away. Keeps registering a damage message so i know its normal weapon desynch. I am orbiting him at 1k for 50k as he crawls back to station. I keep relaoding launcher and spitting rockets in a vain attempt to at least keep agro timer up. Warp scram remains active. but my TURRETS have been disabled. He put his Ogre 2 one me briefly then put them back in bay. Ogres didnt even get in range to hit me before they were returned. Aliance member lost an abaddon fighting these guys The same way turrets deactived.
I really believe this is some sort of hack or exploit. Launchers are not effected, YET, but if this is a hack or exploit i am sure its just a matter of time.
I have seen weapon desynch before. Weapon keeps fireing and burning ammo but log registers no damage. usually corrects itself ina few rounds. Weapon NEVER deactivates, and has afected both turrets and launchers at same time.
Has anyone encountered this? Seems a very, very serious issue that needs looked into immediatly

Its odd the same thing happens everytime we fight this same group. Do you have a better explanation? Not like farmers never cheat or use macro programs to say mine for example. Just look at the problems facting other games out there( WoW, Lineage 2, Neverquest, etc etc). Its a consistant pattern in all games.

You damn trolls are so stupid you do not even READ my post before flaming. my Harpy's cap remained solid at 90% my scram kept running my afterburner kept running [both of which require capacitor as i remember for you idiots that seem tho think i was neutralized] Also: As stated above, logs show the "trying to activate module, Please be patient message" at time blasters shut off (when cap is empty you get the "cap empty weapo deactivating" message, not this one)this "weapon is being activated" message remained for the 50k crawl to station untill i was 5k from station and then weapons worked long enough to get thru Dominix's shield and armor a second time (again neutralizer tin foil jerks how does this happen when i am neutralized?) Dominix fitings: High slots 3 large T2 energy transfers 3 large t2 Sheild transfers Mid Slots were ALL t2 cap rechargers low slots were ALL t2 cap power relays
like i said its was strictly support for a ROKH macro protector. I had agro on dominix the other ship had no agro on me so i could attack the dominix and not be attacked.
thus your "he is bleeping stupid and didnt realize he was neutralized" theory is bogus and just stupid troll tactics
Something is wrong. And the point of this thread was as warning, and asking comunity if they had found similar incidents. Its sad when my concern is turned into a flame fest by a bunch of uneducated jerks who cant read past second grade level (you obviously cant read details, just imagine what you want is written) who's only way to get their jollies is to trash threads. Lose some weight, see the sun, go rent a girlfriend (you do not have the social skills for a real one) and enjoy life.
I am done with EVE. Done with gaming. No one care about making this better, just increasing profits and griefing and exploiting in a game to compensate for their real life failings.

Edited by: Sarkkon on 27/10/2007 19:25:44 one more small detail: Blasters chose to deactivate when I started doing hull damage on target Dominix The original exploit petition I filed while this was happening was given an automated reply stating it would be investigated and that petiton was closed. When the petiton message box poped up my blasters imedialty reactivated at that precise moment. Managed to get the Dominix to hull a second time when blaster turned off again. That happened about 5k from station. Dominix docked about half a minuite later.
[by mentioning pop up box I am in no way implying GM culpability; just suggesting that whatever was happening that respose box corrected the problem by meerly happening. And I wanted to mention the 'coincidental' hull damage = no weapons TWICE thing]
and yes automatic payment on account is currently deactivated. I have a week left unless i decide to stick this game out.
