"In a statement sent out earlier today the Secure Commerce Committee (SCC) announces that the cost for creating a new corporation will be increased to 1,500,000 isk in the very near future. The CEO of SCC, Laurene Afrostel, explains that SCC handles the paperwork for corporations and is getting swamped by the amount of small, insignificant corporations out there today"
I feel the need to make a stand early in this matter. I appreciate the comments SCC have put forward but have an inkling this is the thin end of the wedge to drive the simple smaller corps into oblivion. I admit that the corp structure invites people to make use of the benefits and have little regard for the fall-out, an example of which is the "ad-cans" that litter space and the offices taken hostage by the profiteers. Yes this I acknowledge.
However be warned my friends : Beware the leaky tap of this politicians ruse. This is a drip. The Price hike is a measure , or is it a slender lever into the devide between the smallest and the Mega corps?
I worry not for now but for the future. I wonder why the corps must have region wide assets and members in the Hundreds....
Yes I admit this is protectionist of me : I worry for my corp.. I am in the set-up stages. I want to present a corp that has a stable base, blueprints in the bag and ship assets ready to make a worthy impact in the space I inhabit.
I also admit I am no politician ...I am a simple man of simple means. I want a living that gives isk and social standing.
I do not wish to be a drone of many but more one of the few......a few good men.
(The Equal Oppurtunities Commission of Free Trade and Commerce have allowed the use of the male expression in this case for reasons of "quoting", this doesnot however limit the requirement underaken by all corps in the Equal Oppurtunties Act Section 14.a).

I dont care about the ISK for start up !
I care about the treatment of the small and the few ......
I see this as an emerging attitude towards the smaller corps.
And as ever people cry if the kitchen is too hot then get out!
Thats what the mega corps want.
Fewer corps , less competition and more people saying "YES" "YES" and "YES"
(Nice to see you have passion : so few have it nowadays).

It aint about the isk.
Never was.
(Please remember this isnt the general forum....!!!)
I meant the prevalenet polititics in the Market place that strangles the trade and the new tech !!!
You fail to see my point when you mention isk and other RL issues.
