I shared a few of mine a little while back. flickr
If you're having fun with HDR and are using PS's built in merge tool (which is great but tedious), check out: Photomatix it gets good results in a fraction of the time.
For more enjoyment and greater efficiency, consumption is being standardized.

I'm actually just starting out as a professional photographer, setting up my own business. Not got any pro shots I can share yet since the client shoots I've done are still "commercially sensitive" (i.e. product photography of unreleased ranges for people like Marks & Spencers and Argos), but I've got a bunch of "hobby" stuff up on Flickr:

The "impossible" lighting you're talking about there is what's called High Dynamic Range Imaging. It's basically using software to compress the range of brightness in an image (or multiple images more usually) so that a larger scale of brightness can be displayed.
Real life contains brightness levels that far exceed those that can be displayed by prints, monitors, etc, so by compressing the range you can acheive some great effects - although they're often slightly surreal looking :) Check out the HRDI wiki.

I've been working as a photographer, and editor for a few years now. Since I have a site that is permanently undergoing renevation, here is some stuff sitting in Photobucket:
Shoots in Prague:
One, Two, Three, Four, Five
Second shot in Prague:
One.
London:
One, Two, Three, Four, Five,
Some art stuff:
One, Two (This is really very different than anything else I have ever shoot, but toys are always a recurring theme in my work, Three
This is the most recent non-commercial stuff I have been doing. I pretty much only work on black and white these days, and purely large format contact prints. Recently, I was able to get myself an 8x10 camera, and a whole host of film for it. So I've been working with it now.
Now, I'm sure I've thoroughly bored people, but what can I say? This is what I do.

I never knew of that HDR technique, I've got a few raw images I'll do some over/under exposure to then try that HDR. Thanks.

Alternatively, you can just shoot slides.
In Photography, HDR pretty much exists to solve the problem of dynamic range limits in digital photographs.
But the HDR one up there is actually pretty nice, often it is way overdone, but this one is a bit more subtle, which I think is good.

The Wiki is pretty good in explaining, but basically it goes like this:
Shoot one properly exposed, shoot one underexposed and shoot one over exposed. Then, use the merge to HDR feature in photoshop or a similar program.
There's more to it, but that is an explanation in a nutshell. And I believe you can take bunches of different exposures and stick them all together.

I hate to be technically pedantic, but:

That's just not how it is any more. Good slide film captures about 5 stops of information, colour negative film gets about 7 stops and digital SLR's these days have a dynamic range of 10 stops or more.
Slide film has an unwarranted reputation. Back in the day slide film did indeed outperform negative film, but sinec about the mid-80's colour negative film has had a much better effective dynamic range than slides - it's just that automatic, machine-printed prints sucked and nearly always failed to express that range adequately.
Slide film has a lot of advantages over colour negative film, mostly in tonal curve characteristics (Fujichrome Velvia is a good example - superb tonal range, beautiful film) and grain size, but dynamic range isn't one of them, and it's nowhere near the range of decent digital cameras now.
HDR exists because real life scenes can easily encompass a dynamic range in excess of 10 stops and it's original aim was to allow much more lifelike representation in computer images.
I agree that it's often overdone though - although the effect can be very pleasing, it's rapidly becomming "just another post-processing" style, like the Dave Hill look or the super-saturated look, often used just for the sake of it. I make no bones about the fact that the 2 HDR images of mine I linked above were done just for the sake of it and because I was interested in the technique - another tool to add to the box of tricks :)

Can't write a whole bunch right now, but the main thing with digital imaging right now is actually that film has a much large dynamic range, especially in the highlights.

Anyway, I'd rather not talk about this stuff, as I have to deal with it daily (Such is the folly of living near Kodak). Then again, Kodak is in panic mode due to the fact that they wanted to drop film like a bad habit, and now are trying to get those customers back, by reformulating and giving out free Portra. But then again, I don't care, and I don't even use color unless it is something that is making me money.
So I am interested if there is anyone out there who does other stuff. Uses it as an artistic medium, prints non-35mm, etc etc.

Well, Lomos are all about contrast. I don't shoot with them, or Holgas, but I have shot with a bunch of different Brownies. My favorite is the Baby Brownie.
Which work like this, and this, and this.
I apologize for the third one, apparently I never uploaded a better version.
