Just as i was finally getting it out of my head.
You just HAD to remind me. Its sad because even if it did return, it would most likely never be the same.
Damn you Sandy Grushow!

This is one of the most epic moments i remember from the movie "serenity" Quote: Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: I'll take the shuttle in closer. Zoe, ship is yours. Remember, if anything happens to me, or you don't hear from me within the hour... you take this ship and you come and you rescue me. Zod: What? And risk my ship? Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: I mean it. It's cold out there. I don't wanna get left.
As for the best episode, i really can't make up my mind, they are all awesome! Tough the tune from Janestown keeps playing in my head...

This is one is the win... In a way its good that it got cancelled, so it never had the chance to be ruined with repetitive plots and all that stuff which wrecks most shows. _______

I really want to earn my ticket for that place
I find watching Serenity actually makes me angry, because of all the nuances that could have been developed over the 2 or 3 series planned, were rammed down viewers throats and a whole generation worth of shiny quotes were lost /tear

This.
The real charm of something like Firefly is the characters and that definitely works better in a TV series.
Ah well.

I thought "Out of Gas" was a pretty powerful episode.
I also liked the one when Mal and Wash were captured by the guy on the space station, but I thought the assault done by the rest of the crew was mildly ********.
I mean, come on... watch it again.
Zoey is doing these freakedly ******** barrel rolls, Jayne has an assault rifle in his arms but he's running around with a pistol...
Maybe it's me, I know it's done for the entertainment value, but I just thought if they would have put more violence of action and less flash into the assault portion of the episode I would have liked it a hell of a lot more.

I read that as a reference to the improvement of firearms meaning he no longer needed to dedicate both hands to the AR at all times. He would still need to steady it with his left hand when firing but wouldn't need all his fingers so he could keep the pistol available for close-up fast moving enemies. Tracking bonus if you will.
Anyway, no it wouldn't make sense with current weapons but current weapons don't make funny noises like firefly weapons do. It's refreshing to have a sci-fi use advanced weapons which still have solid ammo. ----- Visible Implants - good for so many occasions |

Right so what are your top 3 episodes?!
Mine are
#1 Out of Gas #2 Ariel #3 War Stories
Funny thing is all 3 are right after each other so it was like being blown away by awesomeness!
edit: Ok I should add a "why." So I'll start! ;p
Out of Gas - I had someone tell me it was depressing but I thought it was good. Explained a lot of the crew's past while being dramatic and funny ;p "Buy this ship, treat her proper, and she'll be with you for the rest of your life." "Cause it's a death trap sir."
Ariel - Dunno why I like it so much ;p Was a good episode either way, guess I was just happy too see them gettin all the med vault and Jayne finally trying to go traitor and getting smacked down. Mals too nice ;p "Hell if I wanted schooling I woulda gone too school"
War Stories - Good ep for a lot of reasons ;p Continuation of the train job, always nice too see conjoining episodes. And Niska getting what he had coming, all I have too say is Mal showed his stuff here. "You wanna meet the real me now?"
The best ending of course has too go too train job though ;p
"Keep the money, use it too buy a funeral because it doesn't matter how far you go. I'm going too hunt you down and the last thing you see will be my blade"
"Well darn"
*awesomeness follows*
The ones they were going to make in season 2.

The part where someone tells the priest something like this: "The bible is very specific on the subject of killing" He answers: "Yes but it is somewhat fuzzy on the subject of kneecapping"

I don't know how big of fans the people here are of Joss Whedon, but he just announced he's creating another show that's getting set up to go into production whenever the writers guild hoopla is figured out. Staring Eliza Dushku, it's being called Dollhouse. --------

Quote: Whedon's new Fox series, called Dollhouse, stars Miss Eliza Dushku, best known as Faith to you Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans. And this show isn't just a pilot. It's already been given a seven-episode commitment by Fox. Woo!
