I'm serious, everytime I try to engage somebody in my ibis I die and it's not fair because I don't have as many skill points as those other players.
How do you expect me to enjoy this game if i have to actually work to kill someone, i just want to log on and do whatever I want and when those guys call me a noob after they kill my ship it makes me want to cry, I swear the gallente rookie ship is way over powered, I've never killed one in all the times I've engaged.
I cannot believe the number of whine and ***** threads I've seen in the last couple of months, when I started playing almost a year ago I saw nothing of this sort. I trained and put time money, isk and $$$ into this game so that I could fly those ships that looked like they could be a lot of fun. Every ship EVERY FREAKING ship I have ever wanted to fly have been nerfed or will be nerfed in the next patch, now the speed whines will probably get ccp to nerf nano ships, ships that will become completely usless after that patch because of what a bunch of whining *****es you all are...
You act as if CCP are your parents, that they should make life fair...
THIS GAME SHOULD NOT BE FAIR
This game was built to be dynamic to be complex to be completely original and non-conforming to the common MMO profile... What you want is WOW not EVE... Instead of whining and crying and taking your sob story to the teachers, ADAPT, modify, learn and find ways of your own to win in game.
Stop looking at this game saying "this needs to be nerfed and this needs to be nerfed to make things fair" and instead look at making this game fun and keeping the older players interested rather than discourage training for anything new because you know that it's just going to get nerfed sooner or later.
RIP: Myrmidon, Ishtar, Domi, Arazu, Lachisis, Eos(triple nerf bat), celestis, ishkur, Drake, phoon, Carriers, Mom's, Pilgrim, Curse, I'm sure I'm missing half a dozen more...
RIP: soon Vagas, sabres (or anything fast for that matter) oh, and everything Amarr, I'm never training that crappy race, or come to think about it maybe I will beause they're already so crappy that they wont be getting nerfed for a while, untill somebody starts complaining about how well they can tank...

Very simple.. Do what I did.. I started w/ Amarr and I'm never disapointed.. Except the Recons.. :P

I don't see how reducing tracking disruptors and damps, and tracking computers,links, and the link makes the ships more the same. Or balanced. OR fair.
If anything this will boost some ships.
the cruse for instance never gets nosed to death anymore when fighting a bigger ship :)
while it can permi run nuets.
Because ships with a 7.% increase to tracking now have a built in anti tracking disruptor.
and they have a better bonus than a tracking computer.
meaning that this nerf makes ship's bonuses more useful.
thus less all of the ships are the same.
Also they are bossting all bonuses on sisi that deal with these modules.
so the scimitar logtisics ships has had it's tracking links bonus doubled, meaning on that ship they are the same as before, and seeing as it's weaker for everyone else, this ship is now even more powerful.
If you nerf one ship, you boost the rest.

A very good point, and indeed I will adapt, it's just frustrating when so many of us pour our time and effort into flying the best ship we can only to finally reach that level only to have it nerfed to near obsolete...

It is balanced IMO.The only thing i think it's not balanced in EVE is that tech 2 minmatar shipps have 80%-90% EM shield resistance and that is something no other race in this game has.other thenm that i don't see any other non balanced stuff between the races.

I agree there needs to be less nerfing and more counters.
As far as speed (aka Vaga's) go I dont fly them or Saber's or Slepiner's but if the only counter to these ships is a Rapier or Huggin then pretty soon all you will see is these speed tanked ships going at each other because they will be the new flavor of the month and how boring would that be.
The problem is that if you introduce a counter to the speed ships like a uber web then it will be used against all of the ships in the game not just the uber fast ones. Then any ship with the mod will be unbalanced. So CCP is damned if the do and damned if they dont. |

While I agree that nerfs are bad:
a) the WoW vs. EVE bull**** is getting old, WoW is suffering much less from whines and resulting nerfs and WoW players actually have to work hard for their stuff (can't win T2 BPOs there)
b) the reason for the carrier / mom nerf isn't whines. Even though CCP hasn't been honest about it, they've never claimed it was due to popular demand. The reason they're getting nerfed is that they don't like capital ships as "endgame" ships and upgrades from battleships. Even though they have hilariously claimed that Carriers are too powerful etc. etc. and people have concluded that the devs are totally clueless (way to go for PR CCP folks) ...
