Edited by: bldyannoyed on 01/11/2007 15:10:54 It's on sisi now.
Turns the warp hactordictor into a targetted scrambler, effective even against " ships normally immune to all forms of electronic warfare".
Bye bye Moms.
It also claims to have a -100% modifier to all the penalties associated with the warp disrupter field.
Whether or not this makes them worse or better im not entirely sure.
Forgot, it also boosts the range of the disrupter by 80%

If its a script shouldn't there by downsides?
Just to clarify, your saying it reduces the warp disrupt field penalties (agilty, speed etc.)? AND boosts the disruptor field range?
On a side note, this is actually a big kick in the nuts for super-capitals. Smartbombs used to be able to destroy dictor bubbles and the dictor itself. Now we will have ships capable of sitting right next to the super-cap, and tanking the smartbombs no problem.

Its stats list -100% modifiers for AB/MWD thrust penalty, top speed penalty, agility penalty and sig radius penalty.

If the super capital comes without support, yes. Then it's byebye super capital. But a support fleet around the super capital should well be able to kill a better tanked hac, don't you think?
Now if this only worked in low sec, that'd be sweet.

We don't need a ship like this in 0.0, we've all got dictors for that.
What we need is a ship that can pin moms/titans in lowsec without effecting other ships, can it do that or do we all just keep using dictors?

If you script the generator, and have to target to use it, that means it is then vulnerable to ECM, yes?
And if you don't script it, it isn't vulnerable to ECM?
Anyone care to clarify?
MORE SHINY, PLEASE!!!

this seems to be an add-on for the hactordictor's scrambler. Possibly even the first of a new type of game mechanic / item that allows for changes to modules through the insertion of scripts. It looks specifically designed to hold down a Mom in low-sec (basically turns the hactordictor into a single target, any ship type, 1 target scram (which I guess would be effected by EWar). my take?
regular gen = AoE, thus you can jam the hactordictor for the rest of all times that it will still jam scripted jam = targeted, thus the mom, or some peeps in support, needs to jam the **** out of that hactordictor to escape. ---

So what do you do with the script to make it work? Is it loaded into the module like ammo or something?

It's just a 1 point scram, with the range of a standard t2 scram (24km). Only thing special about it is its ability to scramble motherships and titans. ---------------------------------------- A Guide to Scan Probing in Revelations |
