Sounds like your PC is unable to handle the heavy load... Get a better PC. Or lower the resolution on all accounts. Or wait a month and hope that your performance increases with trinity 2 (which it probably will).

It just has been saidon Eve Tv that computers who can actually run 2 Trinity 2 clients at the same times are Nasa's computer only :/ 2isk

I assume the 'classic' client will still multi account to the same degree possible now though?
But to the OP: If your PC can't handle it then cut the resolution and turn all graphics effects off. Also if you run them in windowed mode then having one minimized while you work on the other helps. ----------- When I was a n00b, I spake as a n00b, I understood as a n00b, I thought as a n00b: but when I became pr0, I put away n00bish things. |

Edited by: Magerosi on 03/11/2007 15:42:34 mine does it pretty easily. recipe for success: dual core system. 2 gigs of ram. 7800(/quivelent) or higher gfx card.
set priority on each client to above normal. set affinity to a seperate cpu for each client. (cpu0 for power of 2 account and cpu1 for main)
edit: if your going to run 2 clients its usually best to run them in a smaller resolution and in windowed mode for easy alt-tab.

Using single core CPU still (AXP 3500+) and able to run 3 accounts beside of course fleet battles and very crowded areas.

Disabling the sound on at least one of the clients is supposed to help too.

I can run too accounts fine with a 6800 GS and dual core 3Ghz AMD. (2 yr old PC), 3 accounts starts to get a bit choppy, but still playable. Im hoping for trinity we can maybe patch one client account to the new graphics and keep the other on classic so we can run 2 easier, or maybe it wont add too much load, will just have to see.

No need to mess with that. Will only hamper the system. Your PC will automatically shift the load to different cores as needed.
A few articles I have read said mucking around with the affinity practically never results in a faster system. It will figure it all out on its own.

ATM, my home setup is one tower with two monitors, and my laptop.
When I get back home early next year, I will build another tower, and get two more monitors.
Then I can have all 5 of my accounts running at once and I can watch them all. What can I say, I game hard, it's fun.
