Yeah seems pretty good to me. Honostly I would probably drop the armor rep for a cargo expander to hold all the loot from the people you will kill, its not like anyone is ever gonna break that leet ecm and armor shield tank. Good setup overall I would say.

Ok if you pvp you'll wanna fit some sensor boosters to get your kill stats up. I suggest 5x malkuth light missile launchers and 2x 125mm rails, you'll alpha strike enough to 4 shot any non plated frig. 6x sensor booster II's (make sure these are T2, you wouldn't wanna miss getting on that shuttle mail would you?) in the lows I'd go for gyrostabs for the extra damage output. Preferably T2. What you do is you lock up everything on your overview and put 1 missile on each, as soon as you've fired 1 missile you move on to another target. This way you'll make every killmail in the battle. Also, if you don't wanna hang out with the support fleet (they're usually quite ghey) you can fly with the sniper fleet. Load iron in the 125's and longrange pwn the enemy, remember, with guns it doesn't matter if you hit the target, you make the killmail anyway.
I hope you read through my wall of text, gl in the future. Yarr |

the 125mm rail is essential if you wanna get killmails flying with the sniper fleet, I would never drop them. I guess I'm not secure enough in my manhood to fly with the support fleet . Something I'll have to work on. Yarr |

That looks like a pretty solid setup however I would suggest a medium hull repper just to make sure you have the strongest tank.

Edited by: Dez Affinity on 04/11/2007 04:11:08 Hey man, I don't claim to be the best PvPer ever but you're doing it wrong.
First thing is, only use 1 Micro Smartbomb, that's all you need to pop drones and battleships.
Next thing is, make sure you can repair any damage you sustain, you have the amount of slots to fit these modules, use them!
No speed mod? Are you crazy? How do you expect to run away from pirates?
Drones will always be your main damage type on a Drake, don't forget that, you might want to invest on a shield transporter (or two) to make sure they don't die. Remember, losing your only damage is bad. Same goes for capacitor, if they don't have Cap, they can't shoot, keep them topped up, be a team player.
I've always found using cargo scanners to be the most effective PvP tactic out, if you scan their cargo, you know exactly what they have in their cargo.. actually, I can't remember why this is important but do it anyway OK?!?
I value life more than anything in this game, so put on a warp core stabilizer, this will save your ass a lot of the time and if in the unlikely case you start to die or your drones don't instapop the enemy, you can leave, it's that simple. Plus it ****es the enemy off majorly.
I whipped up a setup in Eve-Fight-Time and you can see how good it is: http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/5169/gooddrakesetupformyfrieeb9.jpg
If you need help with any other ship, Eve-Mail me in game and I can help, my expertise spread across every ship in EVE (no lie). _______________

Its a very interesting setup indeed, although someone was saying to add in some rails on a ship that doesn't have any turret hardpoints at all. The armor repairer is the only thing that really doesn't fit at all. I fly a heavily shield tanked drake myself and if you get into your armor ur probably already dead so its not that helpful. The PDU 2 would be more useful. Also if you only have two launchers it might pay off to not has as many BCUs equipped maybe swap in a DCU or another PDU. Which would either increase your tank or your cap recharge then you might be able to swap out a cap charger and fit a scram or web or some other ECM of your choice

I'm assuming this is a joke because that is an even worse setup that what I did with my very first Prophecy.
News flash: Alliance losing members at an astounding rate but it's okay cause I just saved a bunch of money on car insurance by switching to Geiko.

No joke. Don't knock it till you try it. I can't afford the faction gear, but I've pvpd in a similar setup and did pretty well.

Ok guys, think its about time we came clean about this whole topic.
Jarack was the first subject in an experiment by triumverate skunk works to harness the power of the cloaking venal isk farmer and transform it into an unstopable weapon of mass pvp destruction. Jarack was kidnapped out of his raven and given an intensive 2 week course in the areas of "nanoez" "f1,f2,f3, ect", and "local smack", all in the hopes that he could eventually be turned loose upon our enemies.
Unfortunatly, the experiment was a disaster after the course in ship fitting was overlooked as evidenced by this topic. Jarack has once again been set free into the wild in venal where he has happily resumed mindlessly killing usuper spawns while silently praying for a dread gurista with his finger over his warp and cloak macro button. That is all, and sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
